Dont know why i just ordered a project mu reservoir sock of ebay not even sure if they have a purpose ive seen varouis theories on the web, anyone know what there purpose is if anything .

My daughters Advent Monza T100 Laptop will not run off the charger or charge the battery,which now is flat, anyway I can charge it off the laptop so we can recover her pictures from it. PCWorld looked at it and said the fault was on the motherboard so not worth repairing:thumbdown:. Any help appreciated Paul

Hey seems like everything is piling on all at once with car maintance which doesn't include bills and the zx. As title says can anyone recommend a reputable place for sourcing a new turbo for a 2.0 tdi a3. Checked on ebay and frankly don't trust what's on there and need one soon as. Also searched the Web for companies that sell them but majority of them are refurbs. It foes without saying that a new one will be the best bet but what about a second hand tubby vs a recon? Thanks

anyone had one or know about them, my dad has one and for a couple of weeks now on and off it would miss a little and car would shudder at about 2500-3000rpm, i suggested that it could me maf problem, today he was out and engine light came on and lost all power and limped home at 15mph as it would not accelerate at all he did tell me he had cleaned his maf this morning so i reckon it could be what i suggested, anyone had or know of a problem like this also anyone got an airflow meter near me he could try? how much are they new if he has to buy one? thanks Allan

I know that the rules have now changed on car tax and that it doesn't transfer to the new owner when they buy a car. My question is this: as DVLA are only notified of a change of ownership when the V5 is sent to them, what's the possibility of being stopped for "no tax" before the V5's been sent away....?

Around the time I was doing the VH45DE conversion I was buying and selling a lot of parts to get everything I needed and at one point I ended up with a Wizard of Nos car-kit as part payment on an item I was selling. My health got worse, the project got canned and a lot of the parts got put into storage. Fast forward quite a few years and whilst having a clear-out I come across the same kit, exactly in the same condition I'd left it (dry storage, even temperature etc.). I've got absolutely no idea what I've got or what it's worth, if anything, so I'm trying to do a little digging. Well my oldest calls me on Tuesday at half 2 and said next door has gone up and taken ours with it. I was home with in 5 mins and all I could do was watch as the fire boys done there best to save our house and what was left of next doors no one was hurt thankfully every one got out. Seems like we have to have all of our rear done due to heat and smoke ,conservatory is a gona same as next doors , all my loft contents is smoke damaged,not to bad as next doors is gutted with water damage and smoke
