Just been looking the Mail motoring section and it says Renault are releasing a Laguna Coupe. It has four wheel steering and a 3.5 litre V6 240 bhp petrol engine Looks very much like a cross between the 300 and 350 zeds. Trust the French owners of both to produce a zed hybrid !

I have decided I need to find some space in my living room so am going to invest in a flat panel TV for the wall. I was all set for an LCD but have now been told by a guy in Currys that he feels Plasmas are still best if your main use is DVD's and TV which is what I will spend most of my time doing on it. Can anyone into all this tell me the disadvantages of both formats and what one they would choose? Cheers, Justin

Just had a call from Phil (Apache), he is a bit stressed at the moment, he moved the Apache simulator down to Suffolk last week, so was working stupid hours. He is also living in a hotel down there Monday - Friday at the moment, and home, packing the house at weekends with the Mrs. He moves House in about 10 days, and does not have internet connection, so cant get online at the moment, but doesn't have time anyway. He said to give ALL who know him his best, and he should be back online with a vengeance in about 2/3 weeks.

Just cruising back from a great night at the greyhounds with my girlfriend, taking it easy along Brighton seafront. keeping to the speed limit(rare!!) When two chav's come zooming behind me, revving and flashing lights, trying to get me to go for it. So i stick to the limit, as i got the tops off i really cant be asked with them. Im chilling. Not the car behind me, but the twit behind him, decides he wants to overtake his mate and me, so off onto the other side of the road he goes, with his engine screaming he flies past his mate, then as he is level with me, his mate decides to join him. As im still on the right side of the road now level with this pathetic crap…

Am changing jobs soon, have been 'on the tools' for 20yrs, finally landed myself a job off the tools, trousers & shirt etc:wack: Anyways, i need to use my own car for work, around 800-1000 miles a month. Currently running a mondeo 2.0, which is gonna be a bit thirsty for my liking. Have narrowed down my search to a 306 turbo diesel, seem to be able to pick one up for around a grand, dont look too bad, economical and reasonably nippy. Has anyone got any experience with them? Things i should look out for etc? Gonna be getting 40p per mile allowance with apparantly is quite good too. Thanks in advance...Simon.

A little boy goes to his father and asks, 'What is Politics and why is that Gordon Brown on the television again?' Dad says, 'Well son, let me try to explain it this way: I am the head of the family, so call me The Prime Minister. Your mother is the administrator of the money, so we call her the Government. We are here to take care of your needs, so we will call you the People. The nanny, we will consider her the Working Class. And your baby brother, we will call him the Future. Now think about that and see if it makes sense.' So the little boy goes off to bed thinking about what Dad has said. Later that night, he hear…

Seriously fecked off with Tiscali now. Aside from cr@p customer service in the past, my speed is now fluctuating between either being grindingly slow or, at very best, below average for my part of the world (3700kb/s for Warwickshire apparently...at best, Tiscali only manage about 2275kb/s and I don't see anything like that  ). So, I've been scouting around and came across o2's Premium package: up to 16Mb (distance dependant...probably nothing like that in reality  ), unlimited useage, free connection/wireless modem and only a 12 month contract all for £15 a month (less if I have a mobile contract with them...not sure if they do a landline package as I…

ireland had a vote yesterday to ratify the lisbon treaty, we were the only country of the 27 member countries of the eu to put the vote to the people all others countries their governments decided to say yes, the reason we had a vote is because it was very strongly written into our entry to the eu back in 1973 that ALL changes to our constitution had to voted on by the irish people the reasons we seemed to say no were the treaty was too vague on things like conscription, euthanasia, abortion, nuetrality, taxes, and in general taking a lot of power from individual govenments and giving it to brussels the result is not official yet, but i wonder what will happen now a…

I live in a semi rural village in the New Forest so wildlife is obviously quite abundant and we had been thinking there were mice or even rats in the area. I got a call today from the other half in apanic, she had seen a rat about eight inches long run in through the kitchen door into the lounge and out into the hallway. I com home from work to try and find it but have no idea where it has gone so I go back to work. Anyway I have just finished work again and came in and she tells me there is a smaller one come in the same way and gone behind the boys toys. I started looking thinking it would have gone and found it. I have now caught it in a bucket and filled it with water…
