Little post about my current saga that's going on. A warning to you guys in Bristol about where you take your wheels for a refurb. I acquired a set (4) of split rim alloys at the beginning of April, 'Modena' by Autostrada, which are like the rims on an F40. These were bought from 'rapidrabbit' on this very forum! These were subsequently taken over to 'Wheelstyles' in Iron Acton, Bristol near the end of April. I was impressed by Andy there, who came across as a decent bloke capable of doing what he said he could. So the wheels were left with him to make anew. Que many calls and visits over the next three months from myself, and no sign of the whee…

We've just signed up to "Orange Unsigned Act" : http://orangeunsignedact. co. uk/. It's about to go into Season 2 of the show that launches one lucky into infinity and beyond. Maybe ;) None of this X Factor crap either. For those that don't know, those bands who get through the online voting process compete each week by gigging. Ok, there's a ceratin amount of "staging" that goes on but essentially you get to perform as you would at any other gig, just you, your own songs and a pit of applauding/screaming/booing gig-goers just like you'd find on the circuit. Only bigger. The number of people and size of the venue...not the size of the audience member…

Hi, Following on from a previous thread I posted regarding an external GPS antenna I have another question. This one is Head Unit/Amplifier specific. (1) The Head Unit (HU) I've got uses one single RCA connector per speaker (ie, one RCA for "front left", one RCA for "front right", and so on. I will be using a pair of competition speakers powered by a suitable amplifier at the front of the car. At the moment I am undecided as what to do with the rear speakers as I only really need staging at the front of the car (btw - this is not a Zed). The amplifier requires a Line-IN feed from the HU. Am I correct in assuming that I can connect the "front left" RCA on the HU …

......Well whilst there I had a good old look at a Skyline 350GT. Seen 1 or 2 on the road and in pictures but never has the chance of a close look and a sit in one. What a lovely car. IMO they do a whole lot more for me than a 350Z. They have rear seats although they are as bad as the 300ZX having no leg room but the whole car is just the Dogs' B's. I also had a good look and sit in a couple of Stagea's and I must say I am very impressed. There was a Legnum there too but although it does look more agressive it didnt do it for me as much as the Stagea did. I need another estate car and this is the one I am going to get to replace the BMW. ;) The place is called AUT…
