What can these private clamping companies do? My landlord has allocated them to be able to clamp or fine cars parked outside where I live unless issued with a pass and he is being a knob and only issued me with one pass, but knows Dave comes round and parks there as well as my family n other friends, well so far Dave has had 2 fines of £100 each on 2 diff cars...its a complete joke...can they make these fines stick? Been bloody checking all evening and didnt see the sneaky twats so they must have been parked around the corner, hiding there van:rolleyes:

So.... parcelforce 48 hr service, sounds good. Send parcel on a sign for basis with insurance all for a reasonable price. And you can take it to the post office rather than staying in waiting for a courier to call. excellent I'll do that........ So I go on Monday with two parcels to send to confirmed UK addresses and ship both by Parcelforce 48. 48 hours later.... only one parcel turns up:headvswal So I have one happy customer who has posted up positive feedback and one disappointed customer who hasnt got his parcel :rant: Rant over

are you the type of person that cant say no just to keep people happy, just had a guy on the phone saying he is sorry for not paying his rent last week as he is having probs with the ex (actually genuine), his real intention for the phone call was to ask if he could miss this weeks rent as he needs to buy one of his kids a prezzie for his bday (which again is genuine) i told him NO!!!, he has missed one week and he has to pay double this week, he told me i was a coont, i told him to pay his way or fook off, then he said cant believe you are stopping me from buying my son a prezzie for his bday im not stopping him buying a prezzie, im getting the money in to pay …

Police patrol cars are to be fitted with talking petrol caps after officers from one force caused £42,000 of damage by filling vehicles with the wrong type of fuel. In the past five years, Essex police have had to pay out 222 times for repairs caused by its drivers putting petrol in diesel engines or vice versa. To combat the problem, the force has fitted large yellow flaps over the filling point, reminding the drivers which fuel to use. The vehicles have also been fitted with voice reminders telling drivers "this is a diesel vehicle" when the fuel cap is opened. John Franklin, spokesman for the RAC said using the wrong fuel was a common problem. He added h…

just paid someone to fit my combi boiler got a brand new ideal mini boiler for £150 (thank god for the credit crunch lol) then paid a qaulified gas engineer to remove my ack boiler and elson tank from the loft, alter all pipe work and fit my combi for the grand total of £400 i priced the bits and the price of hire for the core drill to drill the hole for the flue and it came to £320, so basically i got a combi fitted for £80 not worth getting my hands dirty lol so its now official, i am now a property manager/handyman no more plumbing love jobs for the family lol

Car licence plates which bear the sequence SN07 were banned from the streets of Edinburgh because they are "offensive", it has emerged. The plate had been due to follow on from the SN56 registration in March. A DVLA spokesperson said the decision to change the plates was taken to avoid offending car buyers in the capital. She added: "It is our policy that any registration mark that can be construed as being o…
