Anyone buy anything from Argos on Friday, my wife bought some things for the kids Christmas and was double charged, she didn't even notice, it was only after i read the article and phoned her so she called the bank and they confirmed she was double charged. There is a number at the bottom of the link if you need to call Argos. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/5/20081029/tuk-oops-argos-double-billing-killing-45dbed5.html

Anyone remember when Monster Munch were larger. I love monster munch and wasn't too bothered when they did away with the large sizes and went for the small ones. But, I've just been into Sainsburys and they're selling the original sized ones. So bought a packet. They're huge and Ace! The ultimate 80's kid snack is back! :D

Gotcha!

just been shuttering garage floor for concrete floor to raised 6" next week. It's running back into the garage at the moment. Has anyone used concrete with polmer fibres added is it worth the extra cost or just a sales thingy? Or do I just go for normal stuff?

I'm supposed to be off to the US next year and nearly bought dollars when the rate was was 1.99 to 1. I've been watching sterling plummet to a 5 year low and I'm really beginning to regret the whole idea of even going now. Why is this country so honest and upfront with the rest of the world. The Bank of England's speech by King really shafted sterling today, not to mention the fooking media coverage. Meanwhile the Americans are keeping very quiet about the state of their economy and the only thing in the news is McCain vs fooking Obama. No wonder we have no industry left:- http://uk.reuters.com/article/ukPoundRpt/idUKLM16366720081022
