General Discussions - Non 300ZX

Went to Southport today to meet member 'zx-eyes' so he could take me for a spin in his 300zx. I'm looking into buying one some time in the not too distant future (when I've saved a bit of money). Quality guy and a nice 300zx. Got to say, I was very impressed with the car. Gripped well, and picked up well, even though it was only running 'safety boost'. I now want one ten times more than originally :D

Sis-in-law has an 03 plate Primera and the different speeds on the heater blower motor has packed in. No blower and no heat ! Cant see any way of getting access to the heater motor to run an independent power source to see if its kaput or not without removing the dash ? Does the dash need to come out, and is it more likely to be the switch ? Bearing in mind the different speed levels are altered through the buttons for the radio, via the wee LCD Screen in heater mode, if that makes sense ? Any other way I can test it ? Checked all the fuses and easy stuff already. Lastly, any easy way to remove whats needed without snapping the inevitable clips ?:( Cheers…

my runaround has just been hit im not sure whos at fault, but as far as im concerned i was stationary and was hit. i parked my car outside my friends house who only lives up the road. i was facing the oncomming traffic. i parked opposite his driveway about 2 metres behind another parked car. i had to pick up 2 of my friends, they both came around and opened the door, as my car is a 2 door coupe, on of them had to sit at the back, so he pushed the fornt seat forward to get in the back, my other friend then pushed that seat back and sat inside as soon as he was closing the door a driver hit my car door pretty bad. my door is scratched but no dents. the wind…

I hate limos, one of the reasons being at the beginning of this video. Quite interesting to watch. Although I can see what they are trying to prove, it;s a bit of a pointless test. Any car hitting a solid concrete bridge support at 50mph would have casualties. Maybe a lower speed might have simulated something more realistic in comparison?

they are usually quite loud, have the sound turned right up, volume on headphones turned up and on you tube, is there any other way of getting them louder???

No, I hadn't dreamt that someone had fitted a Veilside bodykit, LED washer-jets or caravan lights to it (which would have been worse!), but I woke up bolt-upright after dreaming that my Z had been stolen. Not from my place, but from my parents place. Ever so strange. I've not been down to the garage to see if it's still there. Anyone else had dreams about their Z being stolen? Been offered a Lion head 2 year old nutered male rabbit as my friends are moving and need to give it away to a good home. They have a 1 year old boy and say the rabbit is very dosile and likes to be held and petted so I imagine it's gonna be fine with Isabella who will love it to bits (hopefully not litterally). Can anyone give me some info on Rabbits as I don't have a clue about them. Do you keep yours inside or out (even in the winter). do you let it run freely around the house without having to keep an eye on what it's trying to chew ?.
