Hi all, My PC is driving me mad at the minute....... I have Norton Internet protection which, whilst it does the job, it is not scanning properly. It's scheduled to run a full scan once a week but, even though the box comes up and looks like it's scanning, it goes on for hours and the number of files scanned remains a big fat zero! I just have to use task manager to shut the program down in the end:mad: Also it won't run the live update properly - I've done it 5 times this weekend and each time it says it's downloaded the same updates when I don't think it has done anything. Finally I have tried to run a disc defrag. Again this doesn't work. Each time …

Has anyone had these? The missus pointed them out yesterday, so had to have some. Bought a job load of these... The hot chocolate souffles. Now, I don't like hot deserts, so ate it cold and glad I did. My mother makes a chocolate mousse which is near similar in taste and texture! Well impressed!

Quite simply I need something FAST! preferably Intel I7 processor (extreme yumm) and some good memory. Don't need monitor, huge hard drives, graphic cards or soundcards etc. Just raw processing power. ( for music ) So all in all I need: Intel i7 processor as above, good motherboard with at least 2 pci-e slots and some fast memory and a decent hard drive all nicely secluded in a tower. Any recomendations and what price should I be paying for the above? cheers :D

I SO want one of these, 21:9 ratio so exactly the same ratio as the cinema screen so no more black blocks at the top and bottom of the screen :hyper: Plus it's got ambi light so it shines coloured lights onto the walls that match the picture to give a better viewing experience. And the price for such telly watching pleasure? £3500  not bad i guess for something that size and quality

been reading all this week about how rangers and celtic could form part of a new 2 tier premier league sometime in the future. im a rangers fan and would love to see them play liverpool man u ect every week however i cant see how they would be that fussed about having us down there seem to have a pretty good league without us as it is. i also think this would spell the end for the scottish game, surely less tv money and sponsorship would be made available to them without the big 2, i do however like the idea of a british league as hinted at by john boyle the motherwell chairman, but doubt it would happen but what about maybe a british cup? could have this instead of the 2…

What is it that makes all the chavie toss-pots take their t-shirts off when there is the slightest hint of sun/warmth? Unfortunately I had to drive through a part of Warwick earlier today that's not the greatest (Warwick is generally a nice place) and saw 3 chavie toss-pots all with their t-shirts off showing their skinny pale stomachs and nipples to the world. Strutting down the road trying to be all 'ard! They look complete idiots! Do they realise? Evidently not. I mean, sure, the weather is mild, but not really warm enough to wear a t-shirt quite just yet. Why is it that ALL male chavs seem to do this as soon as they see any sunlight and it's warmer than the side…

Car Scrappage Scheme... as if this will work - Its only going to make the goverment lose more money and tax us heavily next March to make up for their balls up • From next month until March 2010 motorists to get £2,000 discount on new cars if they trade in cars older than 10 years • They will have to show they been the registered keeper of the vehicle for the previous 12 months before ordering the new car • The government will provide £1,000 with the industry expected to provide the other half Fuel Duty.... • Fuel duty to rise by 2p per litre from September, then by 1p a litre above inflation each April for the next four years Hmmm :xxx:
