Hi Everyone, Been discussing potential expansion in the car stereo sector with my mate tonight around building a Car-Puter with sat nav, usual stereo functions, possible conZult (or other diagnostic software) and internet access, along with freeview features and video playback. Havent costed anything out as yet but would possibly be around 700quid for the lot also if could get a good enough supply would provide the centre console with the unit fitted for easier installation, for an extra cost just gauging intrest at the moment as havin really looked too deeply into it but would make more than one (for me) if people are interested when we come to build …

I have just got a job working for the Williams Formula One team starting in July. It's a year long placement as a year out of my degree. I'll be working in their design office as a Junior Design Engineer. I just can't believe it!!!!:hyper::hyper:

Today I have been mostly cleaning and polishing...... .......but not the ZX (that's still clean and dry in my garage). I did the Rav with silver Colour Magic followed my Meguair's Gold Class and I'm dead pleased with the result. It looks better than when I bought it in 2006;) In fact it hides the scratches very well; where Julia sometimes drives too close to the banks on country lanes:mac1: Did the SLK with Super Resin Polish followed by Turtle Wax Ice. Now I'm tired and hungry. And it's bound to rain after all that effort........;) Richard:cool: PS only used 2 mega-pixel camera phone!

How fast are these...... one stayed with me (on the track of course) all the way up 2 110 mph before I had to slow - only put 2 car lengths in between us. Mines modded with 14.5psi boost - I thought Id stomp all over it :(

I have just fitted a new sony head unit to my 98 vectra. I wanted to use my sub and amp but i am not getting any lights on the amp?? I have a good earth and a live as i have tested for these and all the fueses are good Any ideas?? Dave

i was reading up about a tv i was going to buy and noticed that it said it wasn't full hd but said it was 1080p, i thought 1080p was full HD but obviously not so what is a full HD tv. Also while in the shop i noticed a big differance betwenn the LCD and plasma screens and i thought the plasmas were better but it didn't look that way to me the picture looked much darker and not as good on the plasma, this goes for all makes in the shop

Forgot what a tank it is, takes so much more effort to drive quick over the mr2 turbo. its down to about 90db now from the 110db of the straight pipe it had on it, still sounds mint tho! All new shocks and lowered springs, new brakes with red stuff pads! Looking forward to chucking it round a few tracks this summer :)

A woman I know has been quoted £2000 for a new exhaust for her MB C200 Kompressor on an 02 plate . The poor girl`s a total technophobe and is always paying over the odds for stuff when she shouldn`t . This seems a hell of a lot to me . Anyone had or know about this model Merc ? Thanks Brian

Howdy folks im fed up with doing my Uni work so i thought i would post what i have done for all of you guys to see :) 1stly i had to write a Research paper on Concept Cars and how it can be linked to games (Harder than i thought as research was minimal) so that was a good 10,500 words for that!!
