took my zed up 2 phil at c&s wood today, story goes like this, smokey smokey engine small trip to halfords to buy some stuff called stop smoke you add it to the oil!! an even shorter trip later and the engine sounds like 2 hammers knocking each other ffs called the firm that makes the stuff and so far they have agreed to pay for the diagnostic of the engine and if found to be their fault will pay for a new engine problem is how does the mechanic prove to the engineer who has to inspect it that it was the stop smoke stuff, cos it is a very thick additive and has, i bet clogged up the oil ways!!!

  6. The Wife sent me out today to get a new daily runabout...something "Modern", "Economical" and "Reliable" .... ..so I came back with this :x: OPPSS Newer Alfa 156 Leather Interior fitted Even the engine has had a bit of bling Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 V6 I think the Clarkson/Top Gear quote "your not truly a Petrol head till you have owned an Alfa" is what did it. What a surprisingly good car to drive ! Engine is incredibly responsive and loves to be revved with plenty of performance. Suprisingly everything works and nothing has fallen off so far. In fact feels very solid to drive. Im sure its not every…

  12. i fill up once per week usually and have noticed over the last month or so that the price is slowly creeping up again, filled up again today at an esso garage and it back up at 99.9p per litre from something around 84p about 4/5 months ago i dont really understand why the price of oil fluctuates so much and anybody who could explain i would be really interested, just does my head in, seems they have a licence to print there own money and there is nothing anybody can do about it. my next daily drive is defo either hybrid/electric or LPG, something that doesnt fluctuate so much and i have some control over.

  17. Have you seen this advert on TV? It's your standard lady razor, but with a Bikini trimming end on it... quite innocent I hear you say, and YES I'd reply, but the advert is a different matter completely! It shows women walking past potted 'bushes' that suddenly become all neat and 'trimmed' ;) Anyway, heres the link to the site.... oh yeah, and play the top one first (standard TV version) then play the second one   http://www.wilkinsonsword.co.uk/women/showroom/quattro_for_women_bikini

  20. This problem has now been resolved! :) Thank you to all who offered their advise and assistance! :) Hi, My PC crashed in a big way first thing this morning (it must have wanted another day off this week). Symptoms are as follows: PC worked fine and shut down fine last night This morning I went to turn it on and the booting process stops pretty much directly after turning the PC on. The only thing that is displayed is the Asus (ie, motherboard) splash screen with the message "press DEL to run setup or TAB to view POST messages". Unfortunately the PC is unresponsive to (wired)keyboard inputs so I can't even get to the BIOS. The MoBo seems to get power as…

Does anyone know, if I connect a second TV, in another room to the RF output on the back of the virgin box, would it be possible to tune/ watch the terrestrial channels on the second TV as well as the virgin channels? The reason being is that I don't want to tie both TV's to the same channel. I want to watch BBC1 in one room while the wife watches discovery turbo in the other room. ( she has a thing about Ed China ):D Cheers for any help or advice on connecting. By the way we don't have a roof aerial connected to either room.

  23. Mine do! Was having a chat with my father last weekend and we got onto the subject of card games and it reminded me of one particular time when I was a child when we were all playing as a family. Now my father being an old public school boy, never occurred and he didn't twig when he wrote our initials out at the top of the score sheet in a different way to usual! He'd written our initials out in a different order. My sister's name is Elisabeth and my parents names are Roger and Ann. So you could imagine the squeals of delight erupting from both my sister and I as my father, quite innocently and unknowingly proceeded write out the following at the top of the sc…
