  2. A few weeks ago, a guy moved into the apartment across from me. I know little about him apart from the fact that he owns cane furniture as I saw the delivery guys carry it up. I bumped into him on the stairs once and he said hello but I cannot be friends with someone that owns cane furniture so I pretended I had a turtle to feed or something. Last week when I checked my mailbox, I found that my new neighbour had left me a note stating that he was having a party and to let him know if the noise was too loud. The problem I have with the note is not that he was having a party and didn't invite me, it was that he selected a vibrant background of balloons, effectivel…

Just watched it  very funny in parts, on a par with Shaun Of The Dead. Well made, good writing and well put together. Both James Cordon and Mathew Horne are very good together, very similar to Gavin & Stacy in their interactions. Highly recommended, especially if you are a G&S or SOTD fan. A good BRITISH comedy  DFR (Dave's Film Rating) = 8/10 Dave

Stoopid car! lol Car failed mot on break balence, 38% difference on the front. I checked the pads and they all looked the same, so put them back and bled the system out, it felt better. Then tested it again and it was still off balence. Checked the calipers and drivers side (ineffective side) was seized. Thought bingo and changed the caliper for a brand new one. Drove the car last night and its still pulling to the left under breaking Grr! If you take it out of gear and brake hard while turning left it really does pull quite a bit! What else can it be? I checked the brake hoses last night with the engine running and someone pumping the pedal, the…

We have a bus in for repair in the workshop at the moment, with fire damage. As such, all the interior panels, trim and seats have to be removed because of the smoke damage. Lifted the very last seat today, near the end of the shift and some tosser had left an open syringe tucked down the seat ! It went straight through my heavy welding gauntlets and stuck in the end of my finger ! Almost three hours in casualty, they must have took most of my blood by the feel of it and then a stonking big jag on my arse to finish off with !!! Makes you wonder what goes through some peoples minds ?:( Still, on the brighter side, I can tell the missus th…

Growing up with fast Fords I still have a keen interest in them, some of the prices they fetch are quite ridiculous to be fair though. It was a great day out my first time at the Pod the RWYB all classic fords was very entertaining, the best of the day were the V8 supercharged stuff a few running low 10's, surprised at the Sierra cossies tho most running high 12s to 14s which i gather is still respectable.

Just curious if anyone on here had any type of core temp monitor software ?? and what temp's you're seeing in this heat? have been watching mine closely! with mine just on smart fan the cpu temp can go up to 53C and eventually settle at 49C , but if i put my external fan on that fire's cold air directly at the board , i can still leave it on smart fan (not have to increase rpm) and get the temp holding at 39/40c (no matter what i'm doing on the pc) i requested this software on my new set up , as my old pc went pop in the last really hot summer we had 2005 i think? Chris ;)

I've wanted to go Skydiving for ages and a mate offered the chance to go, been waiting for a couple of months but finally went today! Plane took us 2.5 miles up, door slid open, sat on the edge of the plane with legs dangling then WAHEY! 30 seconds of freefall followed by about 8 minutes with the parachute open as we sailed to the ground. Absolutely EPIC day out, will be going again. If you get the chance to do it - THEN DO IT!
