The story. Apologies its a bit long. Just before we moved in last year we said to our new neighbours we want to put a 6' fence up,halfway down garden to make a private seating area at the bottom. in a nutshell his wife loved the idea' you can do it all the way along tbh'(it was 'their' side fence i wanted to do+ pay for. Any hoo, he went ballistic so often + so aggressively i had his face pushed into mine more than once + didnt respond, until deciding to fence ALL the way along now. He promised never to speak to me. he still does , to try to tell me what to do with the front garden/drive, or working on the car+ prattles on about my front fence,Which is annoyin…

In summer 2008 I had a full respray on my car, during the winter of 2008/09 the car came out in tiny blisters all over, I took it back to the paint shop and when it came back the blisters had gone, I asked what they had done to it and said it had just been in the oven. Anyway, I was happy because my car was how it should be again... However, tonight I went to wash my car again and its come out in all these tiny blisters again... I understand it may be poor prep and moisture trapped beneath the lacquer but how can I remove them? Is it a case of putting it back in the oven, or having it repainted? thanks, Dan

Hi there guys, Well I"ve had to succumb to the other halfs moans and groans and moved the 300 to the role of 2nd car/ring weapon. Had a think of what I wanted and what I could get away with and went for whats in the pics below. Its a 2004 GT with Nismo 19'' wheels and air filter. It has a cat-back blueflame exhaust fitted aswell. Oh and the plate of course lol. Pick it up hopefully next week. Enjoy the pics, Rob

Is it just my imagination or are (other) people driving slower nowadays? I don't mean because of traffic volume; I mean conciously (or unconciously:rolleyes:) driving slower. I know it's dark during the evening drive home but even in good clear daylight I find more and more people driving (and not just the old in their Hondas or Rovers) at 5 or 10mph below the limit; whatever that may be. Even not exceeding 60 on dual carriageways or motorways!! On my daily commute; along a nice straight national speed limit road, it seems most people potter along at no more than 45. In fact this week Ive seen the same dope in a Golf driving at 35 - and then he slows to 25 for t…

Some friends and I went down to Oulton park yesterday for a rather damp and soggy track day, early start, crap weather and some annoying traffic on a wednesday morning but other than that it was a cracking day! Car did very well in the wet, although Im remembering my earlier comments about my Michelin Pilots being good in the wet, I'm not so sure now! Plenty of sideways action! Dare I say it, I prefer the wet to the dry? Its far more interesting and fun to try and get the very best out of the car round a soaking track! I was dreading it but I learnt so much about the car, how it handled and coped with the ever changing track surface, slithering through most corners w…

After reading this year's Auto Express testing I decided to try "Turtle Wax Platinum Extra Gloss Protection" on my daily driver last Sunday..... http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/products/products/234826/car_polish_test.html I've tried numerous waxes as, being black, the car looks great when clean but shows up dirt and water marks so soon after a bout of bad weather. So as this Turtle Wax product beat the best of the rest in their comparisons I thought I'd give it a go - especially at £10 a bottle! I must say I was very impressed at the ease of use and even more so at the car's appearance!! Especially after it has rained each day so far; the car still has that "…

As of today i'm hoping to stay clear of flu, both the regular kind and the pig variety lol. Been stabbed with piggy vaccine in my left arm and normal sh1t in my right arm. Not feeling achy or anything as of yet but i'm sure it'll kick in tomorrow LOL. Little tip for people tho, if and when you have this stuff eat beforehand as i forgot to eat all day and it sent me a wee bit light headed! :wack:
