We were told a week ago that we were gonna finish work at 1 today , great we all thought , so everyone,s made plans for this afternoon then they dropped the bombshell on tuesday saying due to the economic climate we,ve now got to work till 4 . As you can imagine the lads were well pi55ed off about it :cursing::cursing: Yesterday morning nearly all the power went down in our workplace , no heat , no lights and more importantly no coffee machine :sweatdrop:. They kept us hanging on but eventually had to let us go at 2 but we had to be in as normal today cos the leccy board were gonna fix it over night , got there this morning still no power , turns out to be a big job…

Before I get distracted/diverted, thought I'd wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Also, be careful as I think the next week will also be fun weather wise; don't trash your Z! I bought my first Z end June this year and your support and help has been fantastic. This is definitely the best forum out there (for all areas) and it's always good to see the banter, helpful advice and of course humour. Here's to a great 2010.

:asshole: Yup, its not just the turkeys that can get stuffed, its xmas itself. Its all going wrong. :cursing: We've got xmas day with her mum + her sister + her baby, which i really looked forward to, but now the lil tot has got Swine flu + isnt coming, her mum is now showing signs of flu. :cursing: I've had to go out to try and get something the girly will like to day, because the thing i ordered wont be here in time, despite being ordered weeks ago. This wouldn't have been so bad, without the freezing ice giving me a big slide+ a minor kerbing (not the zed thankfulyl) + in the process has thrown her prezzies into the boot breaking one, then a 15mph drive home. …

Not posted on here for a while, but been looking occasionally, but thought I would on this occasion. Those of you who remember the Isle of wight trip a few years ago know I love tow trucks. I used them a lot whilst owning 300zx's, lol. Had a Skoda fabia, that didnt see a tow truck, but did have 9 warranty return visits. Now I have a Saab 93 and was towed home last night cause the suspension snapped. They've come back to haunt me :surrender: I dont seem to have much luck with cars!! And I thought I was only unlucky with Z's

A couple of hours ago I had a phone call from a very tearful Diane(Emero), someone broke into her house today and stole her laptop and her sons playstation 2. Unfortunately they weren't insured and she's not going to be in a position to replace them for several months. Now normally I would have enough computer parts lying round to be able to build another up, however I recently built all the spares I could cobble together for a computer I gave to my cousin. So if anyone would be kind enough to have a look around for any computer spares they don't need any more so I could try and help Diane by giving her another computer it would be much appreciated. Than…

My brother in his infinite wisdom bought a 32" Sanyo flat screen with built in freeview and PVR. It was a lovely set... until he found a way into the service manual and started fiddling which resulting in the telly going into safety mode while he was playing with the overscan settings. That was 2 years ago, he took it to a sanyo approved dealer who kept it for 6 months before he finally confronted them and got it back having found they'd done bugger all and charged him £80 for the privilege (he's not a great one for standing up for himself over stuff like that, if i'd have been involved i would have contacted watchdog!) Since then he's done nothing with it and …
