Howdy chaps, I thought my daily driver was ready to die on me because the oil filler cap is popping off when the engine is running...I lost it briefly when the bonnet was up, took me 5 mins to find it on the pavement up the road!! Anyway its just dawned on me that I chucked some oil in it a couple of weeks ago and haven't really used it since then due to the snow, I'm now thinking that I've put too much oil in :stupid: I've checked the level and it is sitting right on the max, it must have been above this because some spilled over engine bay when I was driving it. I'm thinking that I may have blocked the breather pipes, will releasing some oil clear these o…

just pulled out of our yard in my lorry and some woman has come along on the wrong side of the road and ploughed straight into the front of our artic that was parked outside!!!! she didnt even slow down!! she was in a picasso and buried it up to the windscreenin the front of the daf :huh: she hit it so hard it smashed the side windows of her car. Her car is an absolute right-off and the artic will probably cost about 4 grand to fix! she was taken to hospital but seemed to be ok(unstable perhaps) but ok.. lorry was meant to be going out at 5am to oxford lol dont think it will be now:laugh: what goes on in these peoples heads??

Just been invited to a wedding out there. Good job it's in the middle of February, should be around the 35 - 40 degree mark in and around the Cape Town area. Now I've never been any further south than Oman in the middle east, and thus, never been the other side of the equator, so quite excited! Relations of my sister's better half are getting married in their home town of Hermanus which is about 2hrs drive from Cape Town and is the SA tourist hot spot (so won't be full of European holiday makers!). Just wondering if anyone's spent any time out there. Hermanus looks really nice, Cape Town speaks for itself as being a pretty decent place to go over there.

May I introduce Ruby and Penny - Non-identical twin girls born at 13:25 and 13:26 yesterday by C-section, weighing 6lb 13oz and 6lb 15oz respectively. Babies and Mummy are doing very well but have to stay in hospital until Sunday :( I can't wait to get them home!! :punk::thumbup::angel::thumbup::punk:

I`m Happy to say to you all that I have a new baby brother who was born on new years eve at 17:57 and we have called him John Jr. He is 16 days late but was worth the wait in the end. Wasn`t looking forward to it but now I am really really happy.:thumbup: We will sort a picture for you all soon. Little REDZED.

Started my new job yesterday, much better being at home every night rather than away all week. Feel like a fish out of water as the last two jobs were identical and had eleven years experience. Anyway the new company manufacture flexi exhausts couplings. So had the grand tour today and the R&D department have pit that staff can book time on to work on their cars :biggrin: But that's not all they have, a virtual pint if anyone can guess what else they have?
