Found out last night that my place at Uni had been withdrawn as the local strategic health authority has pulled the funding. Cue a lot of panic and a very sleepless night last night. Anyway for some reason, the whole cohort of students ready to start the diploma in Sept have basically been told its a no go. So now I have 2 choices, either do the degree programme (prob better in the long run career wise but much much lower funding and will have to rely on student loans) or put off starting til January 2012. Big decision to be made here. Very stressful 24 hours!

I just watched an episode and it was filmed at the Uni where I work. The doors they use all the time are where we go for lunch, but nobody in work ever mentioned it lol!

Well I get my car back tonight, mechanic says I need new plugs again though, which is a pain as I only changed them back in August, although it may have a lot to do with the starter packing up and us trying to start it anyway, that may have fouled them up a lot. Last time I bought NGK Iridium BKR6EIX-11's which seemed to perform well, just about to order some more off sparkplugs.co.uk and am wondering if anyone has any other recommendations before I do? It's a manual TT, with lambdas disconnected. No idea what the ECU is until tonight and I was told when I bought it that it had uprated turbos but that they are turned down. Needs a trip to zedworld for a tune!

I was sat in our company Mondeo yesterday at Melton station waiting for a colleague to arrive, so was flicking through the radio channels trying to find something worth listening to. I just happened to press the Radio 4 button (I was just doing it in order) and I heard a comedian doing his stuff, so carried on listening to it. Well my colleague arrived and bugged up listening to the rest of it. As I thought it sounded pretty good I decided to see if it was available on the Radio 4 website, and it was, so I've just finished listening to all of it.... thoroughly enjoyed it, and I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't need to see an artist to be able to enjoy a good comedy …

Right, I've never had a sig pic as I've just never got round to it but now I want to add one, so been trying this now for the last hour or so and got nowhere lol. I have taken a pic of the zed, cropped it and added text etc, uploaded to photobucket, copied and pasted the url link into the text box in edit sig, preview works but when I click 'save signature' it directs to another page saying 'There are no subscribed threads to display in this folder for this time period.' Hi folks just got my missus a MR2 1993 rev 3 NA Auto and mot is up at the end of the month with a few faults on the pre test if anyone knows the cars would be a great help Fail on following parking brake efficiency below front sidelight out horn not working rear tyre exhaust emission fail exhaust emissions lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside specified limits Ok so not too bad all in but i could do with some help on the parking brake and exhaust faults. The exhaust is aftermarket and sounds like its straight through could this be causing the failure? Also where is the adjustment on the handbrake? Cheers folks Marty

Well, a long story, but has happened really fast! Some of you may know, that im a big BMW fan (M3's mainly). Last year i had an E36 M3 Evo Converible I sold it due to 1. It not being used much, and 2. I spent so much money on it i had nothing in the bank! I decided to sell, and £5500 parked on the drive was a but pointless. I didn't advertise it, but replyed to a wanted ad on the BMW forum i use. A deal was done and the car went around the end of the summer. With the money i had, i decided to buy a 328i sport, and a 300zx and put the engine in the BMW. Joining here, i decided it was a waste of time putting the engine in, so sold the 32…
