Has anyone got one or tried one before? Just i'm commuting 25 miles a day each way to work and weighing up if there's any way i can save any more money. I'm spending about £50 a week going to and from work so potentially a £200 a month save if i invested in a bike. I used to be able to cycle 35 miles a day without trouble but i think 50 might just be a bit too much for a fat old man like myself  I've been looking at the conversion kits and reading the word of mouth from a few people that run this guy's bikes and the feedback is good. Add to that the range is 25-40 miles and i can charge the battery up under my desk during the day and it soun…

  8. This may, even go a long way or crash and burn.... but lets give it a try i was talking to a workmate today, and he asked me a question. If you could have a conversation with 3 people whether living or dead, who would it be, and why?? 1. David Attenborough. He must have seen amazing stuff and be able to totally blow you away with knowledge. 2. Richard Branson. He is seriously cool, and has a great way of looking at the world. 3. Prof Stephen Hawking. This guy is on a whole different level. He could talk about stuff that will either confuse you or think more about things. Thats my starter, anyone else want to join in. Stu

Very sad we lost a cat the other day in a road accident. We still have 3 and now very reluctant to let them out. Just Googling came across cat fences manual and electric ie like these Fence type or electric type http://www.easyanimal.co.uk/petsafe-smart-cat-fence-pcf-1000-20.html?gclid=CJLPu97X6akCFYUY4Qod2252Wg anyone ever done this or know someone who has? The electric one would be easy to install but not sold on if it would work and the fence type I like but would be a PITA to install plus secure every possible hole and would run into quite a few £££'s as quite a large rear garden.

Decided to dig the old smoker out yesterday and smoke some Ribs, Brisket, Lamb and Pork. The Brisket came out so damn well. The pink edging on the meat is caused by the smoke, awesome flavour! Makes me hungry thinking about it lol

I have got a little bored as I can't do much to the Zed until it comes off the road  I could start the engine if I had the cash but need to wait a bit before sending it to Jimmer So I have picked up a new cheap toy to start on, the plan is to sell enough bits I don't need to cover the purchase price and I'm nearly there. Then there will be alot of time consuming fabrication to do which should keep me occupied. Sneek peak here http://www.facebook.com/SFSHoses and while your there why not like our page and enter the competition?

I'm just sat here surfing t'interweb trying to find (to no avail) a wiring diagram for my Toyota Granvia (everything on the van is in Japanese) and in the background I've got 'A Car is Reborn' on TV. Mark (the host) is rebuilding an E type Jag, which after taking the shell back to bare metal, showed a lot of pretty bad repair work that had been carried out over the years. Well he's just taken it to a classic car body repair specialist who's used a process called 'Lead Loading' to repair parts of the damaged shell. Very expensive and time consuming, but by the looks of the end result it's well worth the effort. It just got me thinking about how car e…

Ive got this new Halfords MOT station opened up a few minutes from me, its all kitted out nice compared to my usual which does look a dive. Anyway Halfords offer half price MOT which the chap their said was an ongoing deal. So I took my dads Bentley in as he does not drive it much (200 miles since last MOT) and they failed it on play in the front nearside wheel and having a chat with their mechanic he condemned it saying the car was extremely dangerous. At that point I was expecting my dad to have a heart attack. Halfords of course said they would not work on the car and we then booked it in at a Bentley dealer. Three days at Bentley dealer, car i…
