Hi, I'm due to be driving to Germany in 7 days time (not in the Z!) and have just been advised that all cars have to have a LEZ sticker in the windscreen before entering the city centres. Apart from not knowing anything about this until an hour ago and frantically scouring the net to find out as much as possible, it seems that it is indeed true and that the stickers have to be ordered on line following submission of the car's registration documents etc. As this is simply not possible by next Friday, can anyone shed light on this and does anyone have any experience? In a bit of a panic so all help much appreciated. Shamaz

Long shot I know but this won't be the first time somone posted a question that has nothing to do with Zeds :) Anyone got a Video8 or Hi8 player or camera (not Digital8 unless backward compatible) I can borrow/hire/buy for a few days? I just started to digitise some old tapes (incl visit to Oz to see my old Mum) and my Sony camcorder heads are u/s and beyond repair (lube contaminated heads, apparently. Yuk.) Don't really want to send tapes away if I can avoid it, they're not replaceable. I thought I'd ask just in case - always get surprised as to what the collective Zedworld has in its attic/basement/lockup :D

Jimmy Carr was performing in Aylesbury last night and my friend managed to get us tickets..... ......and he was, as ever, incredibly funny!! It's the third time I've seen him live now and he still brings out fresh material each performance. I'm still in pain from laughing so much - he's definitely one of the best current comedians out there at the moment. Go see him if you can, you won't be disappointed!! Unless you're easily offended or have no sense of humour that is.......:whistling: Richard:winkiss:

I was watching Dickinsons Real Deal this morning on tv and a punter had a 1966 world cup program with some England signature's in it and he refused an offer of £700! I thought to myself I have one of those in the attic with my 1970's Chelsea program's so had a look and yes found it, its a bit tatty and no signature's but must be worth a few hundred:thumbup:

Well, like many of you I just finished watching quali, I say watching, by which I mean reading the text service - as the bloody BBC won't let you watch outside the UK.. :mad2: From what I could tell it looks like its all set up for a cracking race tomorrow - just had a quick check of the weather and it looks like there could be showers tomorrow, which should play into Mr Button's hands. Failing a British win, I wouldn't mind seeing Webber win again, after the Brit drivers he's gotta be one of the most decent blokes on the grid, I'd say. Anyone but Vettel basically, so the championship doesn't get decided with 5 races to go.. Well done to Di Resta also - sou…

Trying to find insurance for my girlfriends VW Polo, its nothing special just a 1.4 worth £1000, she is 23, no claims or accidents etc and all the quotes are coming back £500+! Call me old fashioned, but I was expecting more like £300-odd or £400 at a push. Can anyone recommend a decent insurer as all these compare the annoying adverts, confused.shite and moneystupidmarket are robbing pigs. I refuse to believe we cant find it cheaper, or am I wrong?

What an amazing day so far. This morning, me and a workmate were in Bognor regis West Sussex, in my lwb transit. parked up in one of our estates due to a heavy downpour. As we were chatting, the rain went torential monsoon style, i have never seen rain that heavy before, even with the wipers on full pelt it couldnt clear the screen. All of a sudden, it went so dark, it was like it was the middle of the night, instantly the rain stopped. Then my mate shouts "fook look at that!!" pointing at 2 large recycling bins, to my amazement we watched them go upwards and 30ft and then smashed into a house on the other side of the road. I could see trees some 100 ft away being hit…
