Has anyone with a Barclaycard noticed this new "scheme" they are promoting? I already have a "cash-back" card; but now, apparently, I also participate in their "Freedom rewards" sheme. I can earn extra money based on purchases in certain establishments; which (alegedly) can also be redeemed in "certain" establishments. Well after 2 visits to Just Tyres this month, I have managed to "earn" an extra £41 which I can redeem in any participating retailer.... ......of which, so far, I can work out there are none. Sure, they have many "participating" retailers wherein you can "earn" reward money. But they all seem to be "earn" only and not "redeem." What's th…

Hi Guys, We have just bought a log cabin on a holiday park in Lincolnshire and there is a jet ski lake. I am of course going to buy a jet bike and get out on it! Trouble is I am clueless about them. I have about 6K to spend and I would like a reasonably fast one that I won't get bored with. I would like a couple of seats as well and a good reliable engine type. Did I say reasonably fast??? I do mean really fast of course lol Anyone know where I should go, how much to pay etc etc. Cheers.

Been after Photoshop for a while now on my laptop, but my friend told me about a good alternative earlier so thought its worth a shot as a free download. I'm still getting to grips with it but first impressions and I reckon its better than photoshop, or at least the one I've got on my other computer (#7 I think?) loads more effects etc. Ignore the name it isn't a stupid cheapo programme, but worth a look! Its called GIMP 2.6 :punk:

Some of you may remember I bought a Jeep last year and converted it into a half decent off roader, to attack green lanes etc, its great fun in the wet cold winter weather! :cowboy: Me and my mate have just converted his Land Rover Discovery into a bobtail pickup, and that gave me the urge to get another one for myself straght away lol  So now I'm the proud owner of a V8 Bobtail Range Rover, its got everything I need for off roading and has had thousands spent on it, 3 previous owners and 39000 miles, which could well be believable looking at vosa website. The bodywork is fairly battered due to the nature of the vehicle, but i'll no doubt be adding to t…

Some nice socialy minded person decided my car door needed a few deep scratches  Not the Zed, the family econobox, its nothing flash just a little Punto we bought new, we have had it 2 and a half years and looked after it, no dings or wheel kerbing etc etc, now some fecker (prolly bored kids) decided it needed some pain. :( Its not worth an insurance claim as our excess probably wouldn't even be breached ! So being as money doesn't grow on trees I thought it may be something the likes of "chips away" should be able to sort, anyone have experience of them good or bad ?

Did my first track day for a while at the Goodwood circuit yesterday afternoon. Had the Mithril Racing Muscle car pacakge as a birthday present which included 3 muscle cars with a total displacement of 18.3 litres:drool: I dove the orginal Dodge Viper, Mustang GT (2006 model) & a C5 Corvette. The Corvette was easy to drive especially with the heads up display. The Mustang was ok a little slow but fun none the less. But the Viper is a beast, with 8 litres of v10 truck (lambo tuned) engine and 335 rear tyres + a little drizzle made this the most memorable drive of the three. Took a few pics of some of the other motors you can dri…

While im 97% motivated towards the gym i thought i'd share a few important tips to help you too achieve your goals: - Music! Playing your favourite music whilst working out dramtically improves your effort and drive. - This really is a must, i cant stress this enough. I personally have noticed a huge increase in performance, but for those of you who like scientific research - Dr. Kargeorgis from Brunel University spent most of his time researching the effects of music on running performance and to summarise he found that it improves endurance performance by 11%. I would say my performance improves more towards the 30% mark! You have to play music that really gets you…

Fitting some MeisterR's to my mates E36 M3 earlier. When reading through any guides everyone sensibly points out its easier to lower further if needed. After the first fit it appears I might have taken this a little too seriously: It did tickle me though
