Just read on Driftworks that Redline magazine has been given the chop by it's owners. Only two issues to go before it shuts up shop for good. Shame really as Redline was one of the better car mags Max Power has obviously already gone (understandably as it had gone to the dogs since editors changed over) but this all got me thinking, does anybody remember a car mag from the '90s called 'Revs'? it closed its doors quite a while back but that had some good zed features over the years

Guys I am not trying to stir the pot up, break rules or cause trouble but this place needs some "change" going forward if it is to be any good longer term. I have seen that "opinions" and "suggestions" are often not met with open arms but more than often you just get "its already been discussed" or beaten with a virtual stick. I often sit by watching this going on and never comment like most users. But it has got to a point where I am just coming here less and less and will not even renew my paid membership. So here is my open and honest "opinion" needed to keep this place functional for a few years yet. As a Zed owner and member here for a few years that has n…

I've been wondering this for a while and then thought it best to post on here as I'm sure one of you clever chaps will know. Nissan has recently fielded a GT-R in the GT3 series. Upon closer reading, it seems that the only thing that is "GT-R" about it is the body. Everything else (engine, transmission, suspension etc.) has nothing to do with the GT-R so why is it allowed to be called a GT-R? I can see the benefits for Nissan (image, brand value etc. if it's successful) but from a legal viewpoint, is it not misleading for end customer's of GT-Rs?

Had my garage broken into. They took my specialized hardrock sport plus my daughters bike :censored::censored::censored: Luckily the Z was not in the garage. Going to beef up all the security in general and may even cover the pit as a kind of booby trap if they manage to get in again. They walked past everything else in the garage to take the bikes. Has wound me up as keep waking up now and having to check. Never had a break in before.

just had me living room plastered and ive been told the first coat should be a watered down matt emulsion, ive normally just bought pissy B&Q paint for the first coat (it's what ive bought again) im putting coving up and i did upstair's and always had a problem with the adhesive going off too quick and sometime's cracking, ive been told that it's because ive put it up on bare plaster and this is the reason for the watered down paint now me question is, what ratio should the pissy paint be, anyone know for sure?

Right , i need all you IT gurus to give me some advice. I set up a couple of Win7 pc's, and used the "Homegroup" option to allow the 2 to talk to each other. for a while it was okay, each saw each other seeing users and public under the respective machine names. under public, was the "public my docs" "public my pics" etc. However, suddenly one pc doesn't see the others dir structure like before, just see's "users". I've scanned the internet, and found loads of "fixes" which work for them, but alas, not for me. Now i'm not asking for how to fix it, but rather how to get out of the windows "homegroup" so i can just have a peer to peer network, share drives and share…

Does anyone know if there is a polish that is super glossy, i.e.gives the kind of shine you get when a layer of water is on the car and the sum is shining. Kind of like a sheet of glass. I always use Autoglym Super Resin Polish, which is very good, but was wondering if there is something even better.
