I've recently been to look at a vauxhall omega. http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/vauxhall-omega-2000/88124987 was a nice car new brakes new exhaust stacks of receipts pleasant people too. Just one problem the car pulls to the left and I've read up and its a common probelm. Has anyone had or could offer any good advice i would be grateful. It seems the garage we bought the saab from dont seem to have much in and the consensus is that they are after more money so were a bit stuck.

i remember when we used to do a lot of plumbing we used to always tell ur customers to try their heating systems a month or so before the coldweather set in, that way if something didnt work (sometimes things seize) you wouldnt be left in the cold for days waiting for an enigineer to come out and carry out any repairs, also gives you time to save up for any repairs that ,ay need dong if you are short of cash also it would give you time to join the gas board plans that are run by british gas that are only a few quid a week and will cover costs of quite a few hundred pounds, cheap way of repairing ya central heating system if its gone wrong so get it fired up for …

  5. I want to go to eindhoven in holland in febuary, but everytime i try to get a price it's coming back with nearly £600 with stops here and there, allthough eindhoven has an airport I think its small so therefore hard to find a flight from the uk, so i think rotterdam would be the next best place, but how the hell do i find a cheep way of getting there????

I've got 18" Volk Racing CV Pro's on my shortie' at the moment with 9" up front and 10" on the rear. Now these Volks are 'really' lightweight 1 piece rims. The problem is that despite the rear rims fitting perfectly (currently with 275 Pirellis) the front rims (235 Pirellis) require 25mm spacers in order for them to sit flush with the arches due to their offset of ET +45. They are 3 piece but I plan to re-paint them in matching white enamel so they shouldn't look too out of place The 3 piece rims are off an S14 drift car and as such one of the rims is a bit battered. My Mrs is getting rid of her Cayenne as she is having to put between £150-200pw in it in petrol. She is thinking about getting a diesel A3 quattro.. cut a long story short they are rare as hens teath a year or two old and there is a 6 month waiting list on new ones. She is after something good to use in the snow to get to her Horses and will get some snow socks anyhows. But will the quattro be worth getting over a normal 2wd one as it does not have a diff lock anyhows?. My 911 is 4wd without diff lock and it sucks in the snow. There are loads of nice diesel A3s about nearly new with all the bits on except quattro. So is it worth holding on for one to com…

Wanting to change the Mini for something else, was going to go for an E46 M3 but the other half doesn't like them :( Running a highly modded Z32 means I do need to have her 'blessing' for the family car.. Now looking at classic mustangs so I can scratch the muscle car itch, and I'm onto a winner as classic muscle cars are popular with the wife! Anyone know much about them? Looking at 65-70 Mustang, or maybe early shape camaro's. Challengers etc are nice but far too big. I like the styling and I want a big rumbly v8 Thoughts?

Trying to sell on eBay has proved to be more trouble than it's worth. The winning bid was from an account created the day the auction ended with the username just all letters and numbers like someone had mashed the keyboard with their hand. Couldn't contact them so I assume it was fraudulent. Offer the next highest bidder second chance, they fuss about for about a week and say 'Oh sorry no, bought another now'. So I'm stuck with something I can't sell... urgh...Anyone dealt with Car Buyers Wales in the past? I'm sure they'll offer me about a third of that when I take it into them but I just want shot of it to be honest.

Just read on Driftworks that Redline magazine has been given the chop by it's owners. Only two issues to go before it shuts up shop for good. Shame really as Redline was one of the better car mags Max Power has obviously already gone (understandably as it had gone to the dogs since editors changed over) but this all got me thinking, does anybody remember a car mag from the '90s called 'Revs'? it closed its doors quite a while back but that had some good zed features over the years
