Ok so i can't use the Z as much if hardly with its problem,so sunny day,got the car out, decided to finaly fit the 3 Pod pillar and clocks, not too bad a job, just tickled along all afternoon, one thing i did find while re siteing the boost clock from its temp area was that the pipe to it in area i could not see had virtually bent over so as not to allow much pressur to the clock, which would explain why the needle seemed to occilate and jump a small fraction,i think it was giving me a crap reading while i was setting up me EVC5,which would explain a few things like detting on full boost(i now think the EVC was to high)and my subsequent possible knackerd valve symptoms, anyway …

While I and my dad have 2 weeks off we are stripping down my Z and doing everything that needs doing to it, which means a lot of rust and change the petrol tank. I have decided to post what we are doing so you know all of the blood, sweat and tears I shed for my car. It may not be the best but I love it and I do my best keeping it going. For the next week or so I will post up what we have done and what we have found wrong and how we fix it. Anyways. Today late start as we had to drive to Bolton to Machine Mart to buy a couple of tools and a nice trolly to lie on. Saves lying on the floor in all the crap. This was our first port of call. You can see the…

After being let down at the weekend on a GT40 by a complete w@nker who changed his mind at the very last minute I decided to buy something else. Been shopping at the Westfield factory today & ordered myself one of these. Should take delivery of the kit in 5 weeks & should be getting a Hayabusa engine tonight :D:D 0-60 in 3.2 secs - I think that's quite fast enough for the moment, then I can get the 350hp turbo conversion while it's away for the winter ;) Jay --> desperately trying to get a new car before Billing :p

Saw a nice one at a local dealer near Leeds today. Import Non-turbo Manual box Red G Reg. 58000 Miles (94000Km) Cloth seats 2x 4" chrome pipes out the back. Bodywork looks mint Engine started great and sounds dead smooth but looked a bit mucky. Don't know how it drives but looked a good 'n. The sales guy said it was on their website but I can't find it at the moment. Might not have updated yet. http://www.redline-racing.co.uk/

Blimey - have you seen the wrinklies coming out of the woodwork this year? A rush of nostalgia and too much red wine has got me ordering tickets for Paul McCartney at Earls Court (ok ok ok you may say that Mark Chapman shot the wrong one but this might be my last chance to see a live Beatle). And Yes at Hyde Park in July. Now, can I get away with the Stones at Twickenham in September as well? hehehe - Gio

Based on your experience, what problems have you had with your car? ie the most expensive one lol :D So any hassle that has developed since you have owned your car, does not count if you have recieved the car with the problem already on it.

Five surgeons are discussing who makes the best patients to operate on. The first surgeon says, "I like to see accountants on my operating table, because when you open them up, everything inside is numbered," The second responds, "Yeah, but you should try electricians. Everything inside them is color-coded," The third surgeon says, "No, I really think librarians are the best; everything inside them is in alphabetical order." The fourth surgeon chimes in: "You know, I like construction workers. They always understand when you have a few parts left over at the end and when the job takes longer than you said it would." But the fifth surgeon, Dr. Morr…

I obtained a quote from Adrian Flux several weeks ago (just before buying the Z). They initially quoted me for the ST24 (I had this at the time), then gave a quote for the Z and both quotes came out at £510. Excellent :) Basically, I was told if I took out the policy on the Monedeo then swapped it mid policy I would only be charged an admin fee (fair enough) or if I get the 300 before the policy is due for renewal then I would just pay the £510... Marvellous!!! They gave me a reference number and I rang back today as my insurance is due tomorrow. Unfortunately, Mr Connelly, we only have details for the ST24. F*CK!!! After about 20 mins of fannying around and explainn…
