This was funny as ****, bear in mind that this car has cost 70k to build and my Z prolly cost around 7500 and i was only running 9-10psi. Basically going to castlecombe, saw the ND evo 7 in front, now I thought, this car will go like ****, as it has an aclaimed 2.79 0-60 and a 5.99 0-100(???) 771bhp? Just finished work at 3pm,need to shop,turn into One Stop shopping area on Ashby Fields in Daventry,what do i see in front of me,black Z,G plate ,was right behind you and we both left the carpark(no spaces per normal,chaos,as kids comming out a school)you then turned left at roundabout,me turning right,went passed you,you just saw me as i tooted,you were on your pink mobile at the time,Z looked in excellent order,any one on here i wonder!;)

Hi all, I'm currently trying to get as much info as possible on the 300zx TT as i'm very interested in buying one at the end of the year, yes i know its only May but i like to be sure about these things! :) I've just read the very interesting and informative buyers guide in the FAQ's, which has almost answered all my questions but a still have a few queries. How much (realistic) MPG should i expect to get around town and cruising the motorway? Can anyone recommend any companys for importing a TT 300zx? and finally how much am i likely to pay for insurance, i will be 23 and have 1 years NCB and 3 points. Hmmm, spend most of the day hanging my nose over wheels at the 200 plus meet near derby today. Get home and park the tt next to my daily driver which has 18x10 wheels on the back, and 18x8 on the front. Well it puts the stock alloys on the tt to shame. Think I might have to invest in some new wheels earlier than I expected. Mind you, at least I may know someone who would be interested in 2nd hand rubber with, now whats the word for the sticky out rubber bits.. Arh yes tread. ,:D Right, I'm off to start looking for some spare dosh for the wheels. Down the back of the sofa, bound to be a couple of quid there.

went to see my car yesterday at the bodyshop - seems like its been there forever now. anyway, all the paintings done & it looks sweet! :) the 99 front bumper looks fantastic all painted up, he's gone round the whole car for me getting out all the little dents that were in the doors wings & bonnet. just needs all fitting up & i can get her back. hopefully early next week. :D :cool: piccies to follow when its complete :)

Has anyone got any official performance stats for an Auto Zed? All the magazine reviews online seem to be for the manual. I have some people that don't believe to auto performance is equal to the manual. (according to some sources, I need proof) I don't want to start an Auto Vs Manual war here, use the other thread for that! :D

It's nice to see the ickle hot hatch can hold it's own with the big boys. This is from this months Autocar. I always said the VTS matches up to a lot of impressive machinary that it shouldn't get near to. Not bad for a 1.6 N/A with only 120BHP :) Now I'm just looking foward to my Zed being fixed at Zedworld so I can keep up with one :rolleyes:
