I've always thought there was too much space around my Mongoose Exhaust, housed within my Wings West bumper:- So I decided to mesh around the exhausts to tidy it up a bit, luckily I found some mesh exactly like I have at the front of my Z. Cheerz Dave

But the really funny thing was, I was stopped at the lights for about a second when the camera went off. :confused: Really strange. Obviously it wasnt working properly but if I do get a letter I will ask for the photographs and it will show a car stopped at lights. Stuart

I spent the day with Stuart (SRRAE) doing some jobs on my Z. First of all we (well, mainly Stu!) replaced the front discs and put new pads on all round. I think it was about time they were changed:- We also used his patented can of beans trick to find a boost leak that I had suspected. I think this may have caused a problem :- We re-tested for leaks and there is another sizeable leak somewhere else, unfortunately we couldn't spot it (we could hear it) and will have to re-visit this. Hi All, As some of you remember earlier in the year at the SXOC Top Speed Challenge, I blew a piston. :( After some time of waiting for SE to get round to looking at my car, I got pi$$ed off and tried looking elsewhere. Unfortunatly the quotes I was getting back for a re-build were "intergalactic", so although I wanted to go with another company, my dosh situation didn't allow it. Anhew, (I will get to the point) ;) Pete (SE) finally got round to looking at my engine, and has agreed to do a rebuild at a substantially discounted rate, this means I have some dosh left over, so along with the re-build I am now going for forged pistons and all the gubbin…

We have a pretty big pond in our garden, ~15000 gallons and occasionally we get the odd duck appear. Haven't seen any in a while though. Just went outside and blow me, 8 baby ducks and one mummy, must be a nest in a flower bed. Anyone want a new pet duck? I bet they'd make wicked pets! Forgot just what it's like to drive her car in public. I picked a girl up from her work in town the other night and as I was walking back to the car with her there were two girls who walked past the car..... Stopped.....walked back to the car and were looking all around it. Just got a "NOTICE OF INTENDED PROSCUTION" through the door, for "camera-exceed 40mph limit" :mad: i remember last sunday turning right onto a 40 zone and i was first at the lights so gave it a prod and maybe touch 50 or so, there was no one else around, i say this white van up ahead and just assumed it was a builders or something, then as got close theres a guy with a camera facing me, oh sh*t. Does this mean i will get a fine or have to go to court, never had any experience with traffic offences so kinda brickin it. Any advice appreciated.

My Zed's been off the road for 6 months, the Tax expired on the 31st of March 2003. Although the car was registered in my name at my CURRENT address I received no reminder form as I usually do. I taxed it last week and would you believe it - the F*CKERS have sent me a fine for not filling out a SORN for a mere 8 weeks. The F*CKERS have had £89 for a car that's been off the road and now they want MORE. Does anyone know a way around this - it's not the money, it's the PRINCIPLE. Many Thanks Shaunmac.
