Which would be the best value - clearly slightly biased here. But for every day use and the prolonged fun factor. I'm trying to persuade a mate to go for the Zed reason in 3 years time he will want more power than the 306 could ever deliver therefore buy the Zed now and keep it for twice as long then you will save a lot on depreciation costs. However running costs will be higher and the TT can wipe you out if there is major problems. Whats your view Same money - which is more practical fun and which will last longer?

My oh so reliable daily driver (Fiesta) has let me down again. The battery died the other day a mile from home - so the missus had to tow me home - not nice  Bought a new 'un and it was fine. Now the bloody coolant reservoir cap has DISAPPEARED - dunno how it happened - just overheated at lunchtime and I lifted the bonnet and it was gone  . I've rung around the Ford, Halfords etc places within a couple of miles and no-one can get one. Anyone going towards Daventry from Leamington? :D No? Oh bugger. Fords are cack. Rant over Pete

Was bored so started searching for famous 300ZXs ;) Here's an excerpt from the OJ Simpson trial, It's the testimony of Allan Park's (OJ's limo driver.) See if you can find a more famous 300 ;) ********************************** Q. All right. And what position did you pull up to with respect to the gate shown in this 0099 photograph? A. With my car facing in forward towards the house with the front bumper almost touching that gate. Q. Is that the Ashford gate that we see in this p…

Hi, There was a recent post entitled "Maths Homework" about 0-60 times and 1/4 mile times. Well it set me thinking as follows. With a standing start, given the distance, 1/4 mile, and the time, say between 10 and 20 seconds, you can easily work out the what constant acceleration is needed, (Techies see note 1). The big assumption here is constant acceleration, clearly the acceleration will vary over the 1/4 mile, but humor me for a while. From the acceration you can easily work out both the 0-60 time and the final speed, (note 2), from which you can work out the kinetic energy, (note 3). Now this amount of energy has to be supplied by the engine in the…

Looking in Exchange & Mart this week - quite a few ZX for over 6k from the trade. Seems that their value is on the rise - maybe due to the 350Z. It's good for us!!! Geoff.

Lesson in Worms Four worms were placed into four separate jars. The first worm was put into a jar of alcohol. The second worm was put into a jar of cigarette smoke. The third worm was put into a jar of sperm. The fourth worm was put into a jar of soil. After one day, these were the results: The first worm in alcohol - dead. Second worm in cigarette smoke - dead. Third worm in sperm - dead. Fourth worm in soil - alive. Lesson: As long as you drink, smoke and have sex, you won't get worms.

Yesterday's Leicester Mercury's front page featured a fatal RTA involving a white 300 and a tree. It seems the passenger didn't make it. I guess it's easy to feel sort of invulnerable in a Z; it being so heavy and strong, but trees almost always come off best. Perhaps we should all spare a moment to hope the driver pulls through ok !
