Flame grilled?

Wicked day as last year, sun was out although a bit tempremental at times. Thanks to John, paulc, andrewg and jay300zx for the convoy up from toddington, its turning into a tradition now, macca for sorting my clear side repeaters for me and everyone else i chatted to. It was a much better event this year with a lot more trade stands and some awesome cars. Smw1's car(s) is(are) looking awesome as is maccas new engine bay. This w/e has been amaizing! Met so many friends & new faces, talked/laughed so much got lip cramp!!! & some of the Z's there were stunning, (i must pull my finger out)! > Steve Burns deserves a medal!!!!! big time. I was on the working party friday setting the whole site up etc & the poor bloke was @ his wits end. Got back from the Algarve tonight & the above is my opinion of The residents of this place. It costs 15 euros for 2 sun beds & a parasol on the beach. Some places it costs about the same for a large beer as a pint in England & it's not even a pint. The residents are rude & unhelpful & seem to be brain dead. I thought the Spanish were a bit sullen but these people are on another level. AS for lazy, half of them can't manage to get their shops open by 10 o clock, although this point didn't affect me personally. One of my new customers is from Liverpool. As is usual from all of my clients (and most bods in the street) I get asked for ciggies every day (no - I have not got a fuggin slot in my forehead, go buy your own!) When this guy asked me for a smoke I nearly fell off my chair! He asked.... "can I feltch a cigarette from you?" Apparently everyone in scouse land uses that term!! Apart from other thread I have posted.......... .......I enjoyed the company of Barks and his two mates, chuffin hilarious!!! Went to the market today and got a great deal? Top 59 albums on a single DVD ( 78 cd's worth) for a tenner! Been sampling for last 5 hours - will make mp3 cd's for the car next. Great idea for parties though as you can put it on the dvd player ( that plays MP3's, most do now) linked to hi-fi or surround sound and select album or track index from display on TV, so anybody can be the DJ! at the press of a button. Just thought I would share the moment!!!! so to speak.

just got back from billing and it was excellent. a big show of 300zx's. i was toying with the idea of buying a supra TT but now ive seen all jap cars together there is no doubt the zx is the best looking car of them all. so now saving pennies for wide arch kit and full respray. next year my car will be on show

I've been calling round for insurance and trying to get some cover for all the cash I've spent on my Z without much luck :( The best price I've had is on a classic policy with Heritage/Norton Insurance limited to 3000 miles a year for £347 It's a low limit but I doubt I do much more than that averaged over the last 4 years breakdowns! They offer an agreed value for the car and asked me what it's worth. I think to replace the car as it is would cost me about £14K. They said but it's only worth £3K so no chance and that would be subject to a valuation by the Z Club LOL! How is that an agreed valuation for a classic car? If i'm prepared to pay to insure it …

Evening insomniacs ;) Fitted my new rad today - yay!! I shall go to the ball...err...Billing :cool; :D I went out for a spin to make sure everything is okay, and to fill up with Optimax. Halfway there it starts raining - no problem I thought, flicking the wipers on - but nothing :eek: Then I remembered the wiper arms are in my shed drying after i resprayed them the other day! :eek: :D. Looking good incidentally... ;) Luckily the rain was only a quick spattering so I got home ok, phew! ;) And no water leaks!!!! Get in!! :D:D Pete
