General Discussions - Non 300ZX

See attached pic of a recently rebuilt twin turbo engine that was not well at all and was sent to us by the engine company. Very bizarrely there was zero compression and I mean zero compression on number 5 cylinder accompanied by a very nasty banging sound from that area?? surfice to say it has gone back for a.....rebuild? History of a Zed owner. Post 1. Want aZed. Post 2 .Got a Zed, great car, goes like uck. Post 3. Gonna upgrade/replace/modify/alter/improve part X Post 4. Goes even better. Post 5. Bast'rd cars leaking(oil/water/something else)/hesitating/wont start/turbos ****ed/ making funny(usually not funny) noises/firing on 2 cylinders/smoking(black/white/blue/purple/red/ I can sing a rainbow too)/vibrating/bits of plastic falling off. Post 5. How can I fix it. Reply(Mr. stock). Shouldn't have ucked with it in the first place. Plugs, filters, oil and a bit of a wash now and then and you'll be O.K. Really just a post to say I think the Zed is a really reliable sound…

Hi Guys I'll get some stick for this but... I just drove a friends new scooby wrx type ra sti and several other numbers, letters, roman numerals after that!!! I actually liked it, and the acceleration was unbelievable, the car was running 300+ bhp but i couldnt believe the acceleration, it really shocked me but saying that it didnt tempt me into buying one.

I've read quite a bit on here recently about subscribed members, freeloading, etc. One thing is true, we need to encourage more people to pay to join, especially as we are now planning on marketing ourself as a "club". Personally I feel you're going to get far greater result with a carrot approach rather than a big stick. What do people get for joining? Not exactly that much more than not joining. Most people have paid up because, like me, they had been using the board previously and, when funds were required, stumped up the cash to keep everything going. The main reason people will quite happily pay is if they see some benefit from it. So what can we easily off…
