Hi folks. Finally got a replacement zed! Picked it up on Saturday morning. First chance I've had post, been too busy tinkering and driving. She's really polished up nice. She's a '90 Import NA Manual in metalic black with leather. This may be useful to some of you, my insurance was with Norwich Union Direct. I found them to be very quick with inspection, negotiation and payout. Was coming up the M1 today doing around 85 mph and my snooper S5 starts going haywire flashing LASER on the display. So I brake down to 70ish and look around then I come to a squad car on the hard shoulder pointing a speed gun at the passing cars. So as far as im concerned the detector has paid for itself in that one instance, cheers Bob :D Paul

After looking for alloys for ages, finally found some that I really liked and what more they were available at Max Power for order with a saving of £250 over the price I was quoted by R Tech. They are Mania, Pacifics 19" 235/35/19 front and rear 265/30/19 clad in Toyo Proxes. They went on a treat - tons of clearance for big callipers. They were also on the yellow ZX at Max Power and also on a Supra on show there as well. Well the steering and drive is much sharper and the ride only slightly harsher at high speeds. So guys the way to go in my opinion is 19s!! I'll stick on some pics. Geoff.

This weekend, Sunday 24th August to be precise is the 2nd anniversary (if you can call it that) of the death of a very dear friend of mine, Martin Dawson. He was killed in a car accident on the M11 when a lorry driver fell asleep at the wheel. The crash also claimed the lives of his 2 children Laura and Robert. They were the sweetest, kindest natured kids you could ever meet. Martin was just a guy I clicked with. We had the same stupid sense of humour and outlook to life. Just got my new intercoolers delivered today and really could do with a hand fitting them over the weekend , if any one has a spare few hours. (and knows how to do it) Tried to remove the front bumper before and gave up after about an hour of removing every bolt I could find and it still would not budge. Quite happy to travel and supply beer etc Cheers Ryan
