General Discussions - Non 300ZX

No I'm not selling the Z! But I am thinking about importing a '98 R34 GT-T. It would cost about £10.5k on my drive. Any comments gratefully received. Does anyone know if it can be easily (cheaply!) tweaked and by whom? Anyone have one? Anyone got any performance data?

ne1 see Countryfile (BBC) at the weekend ? They had tractors which compete pulling huge weights. The most powerful were around 10,000 BHP !!:eek: :eek: - they had 5 huge V8 engines - not sure how they link up ??:confused: Some power though ?

I have installed Red Hat and I have downloaded Nedit to do my C and Java (Well try to anyway) but I have no idea on how to install the thing. I have downloaded it and extracted it but I cant install it. Any help please. Stuart

It is with deep regret that I have to announce that one of our members has reached a landmark in his life. No longer will this person be able to dress fashionably, hold his beer or dance. he will walk around the shops eyeing up that new cardigan in the shop window , thinking , "hmm thats not bad actually", he will actually be made up to get sox , a comb and a pair of slippers for christmas. Buying new bits for his car will cause much grief as he is now old enough to know that the cash should really go towards that new lawnmower he promised himself. As some of you may know I picked up a pair of 2nd hand wheels at Billing, from a guy who was selling them on the Z world stand (not Jeff...). They needed seriuous referbing, but they were cheap and three of the tyres were in good condition. Anyway, I came to fit them on Saturday, when I discovered THEY DONT FOOKIN FIT!!!!!!!:mad: :mad: :mad: The pcd of the bolt holes is well out - I dont know what car they came off, but it can't of been a Z - boll0x, sh1te, ar5eholes, etc, etc :mad: :mad:

... actually drove past my house ! G*** BGS, import, high spoiler. Damn sure I've seen this car before somewhere ...

Anyone know the best place to get the above from?

Spotted a silver Z parking up at the Fort shopping centre, Birmingham. H** OKY (I think!!) Big spoiler, stock wheels, stock zorst etc... couldn't tell if it was an N/A or TT as I never saw the front end......... Anyone from here? Matty.

Praise the lord, i'm back in a zed :) Finally picked up my yellow peril last night at 11.30 :eek: Drove her all the way from harlow to morecambe and ehat can i say wow :) Grinning from ear to ear The car is awsome, you couldnt buy a better zed, the guys has pampered it from 12 months old, speant a furtune on her, in the last 3 or 4 years shes covered about 1000 miles and she drives like new and by god its fast ;) So i'm off now to arrange for my dvd and screen to be fitted before trax so i can show her of to you guys I will post some pics hopefully today Cheers Kirbz

Does any one have and good site where people post up their code of C programming, which allows other people to look at the code and use it. I have to make a text editor like Vi for University and I am really struggling on how to do it. Any help would be great. Stuart

Hello everyone there in the UK. This is a new item that I have developed for the Zed's IT is the strut tower covers. It simply bolt on the stock or aftermarket struts.they will fit flush with the body.it you have the proper camber settings I have tested them alreadt w/o the o-rings and the worked just fine. Right now I need to make some grooves to insert the o-rings to avoid some rubbing inside the strut area. I will post some pics of them installed in my Zed by tomorrow. Ahhhh my first race in my new zed and you dont get any better than this going down the M6 80 ish minding my own business when a car came flying up me ass...what the f**k is that i said to the wife, it looked massive so i moved over for a look as you do. Do you dislike anything about the 300ZX as in design etc. Reliability doesn't count ;) I don't like: - The tweed bits on the interior - The dim headlights - All the rubber seals on show when the t-bars are off - The feebleness of the gumph behind the centre console :rolleyes: The stock front splitter annoys me cos I kick it all the time when messing in the engine bay but I wouldn't change it ;) Pete ;)

Helllo there! Just got myself a P reg TT import in black and I am in LUST with it big time!!! It's totally standard apart from 18 inch BBS's and a healthy dose of diamond brite:D .... Anyway since I bought it every other Z on the road acknowledges me with flash of the headlights or an arm out of the targa (northern weather permiting).
