Hi People I pick my Zed up tomorrow and with the mods its had done she should be pushing some decent BHP but how do i tell?? I spoke to grasshopper and they said its not worth getting it dyno'd as they will do a road tune. So the question is, is getting the car dyno'd worth it and if so where and how much? After such a shite event at north weald I decided rather than waste the entire day I'd batter do something in the evening to save the weekend. So I fitted my rear strut bar. I must say this is a real PITA. For something so simple. you gotta strip the entire boot, then fitting it was even more or a PITA. LOL Anyway got there in the end....

This is an old 'un, probably proved by lazy students somewhere at some point... But why?? Surely if I have a piece of paper the right size to fold 7 times then if I made another piece twice as big and half as thin I could do it 8 times ??? :confused:

While it was great to see some awesome cars in action the event itself was crap considering it costs £20 per person just to get in. First of all there was no timing boards like they use at Trax so you couldnt see what times or speeds that the cars were doing. All they had was a naff PA system that you couldnt hear or understand unless you stood under the loudspeaker. Also there should have been some handouts or a simple programme available so you could see what clubs and cars were running to make it a little more interesting. There was nothing in the way of trade stands or anything of interest laid on for you to look at unless you wanted to buy a burger or a back issue …

I have been asked to sort out at my work a breeze block type shed. Roughly about 10ft x 20ft. Any takers? Just thought it would be nice to keep this 'in house'.

OK, hear goes, Last nite, while on the internet, i could hear noises coming from the pc. It was similar to the sort of noise you hear when the hard drive is looking for stuf, but it was a lot more scratchy, as if it had grit in it!! Also this morning it was very slow at start-up, taking about 2 mins before my log-on screen came up :confused: When it finally sorted itself out, I could hear this noise again along with a noise that sounded like it was switching a relay off. Similar to when you lose your internet conection, but I wasnt on the net at the time. Right, before you ask, yes I have the latest worm patch and ive performed the search on my pc for it…

Morning. This morning I was sat a few cars back in a queue behind 2 trucks, a van was directly behind the 2nd truck. (ok the scene is set...) The queue pulled onto a straight, but there were cars coming the other way - despite this the van went for it :eek::eek: Now here's the bit that really got me angry :mad: - the car coming towards him didn't slow down at all but simply turned his main beam on :confused: Like that'll help the situation - ok he made a mistake in overtaking - so you'll gonna kill him and yourself as punishment :confused: ?? Why do people do this?? Ok the van driver was a numptie but slow down and let him through!!! Swear at him after…

Whilst fitting Paul Gunn's Turbo xs BOVs and taking a few video's of them, we could hear a hissing sound after the engine was switched off. Paul said that this had always been the case. Right side of the zorst was also a little smokey. Anyway, Paul fitted a boost gauge yesterday and then phoned me up to tell me that he was only pushing 5 psi. !!!! He popped over later and we ran a few checks on it. We found a few boost leaks and this.... So we took the pipe off and replace both front PCV hoses both were in a bad way There are still a few small Boost leaks to sort out still but after going for another run, we are up to just under 8psi. Pa…

I was on my way home today from picking up the cash from the bank for my yellow Zed which i am picking up this weekend when i saw a zed broken down being towed up on a low loader then about a mile down the road was another zed smashed up :( Do you think the powers that be are trying to tell me something or F**k him get it anyway...who wants to go to heaven anyway ;) Kirbz
