How critical is TV size in a room? I have a 36" CRT in a room which is about 12 foot by 11 foot. Is this too big ? I never thought it would be , but one guide I read said I need to be 11 foot from the screen !

I was driving home tonight and reached Brittania Bridge to go into Anglesey but the traffic came to a halt 400 yds before it goes into 1 lane. A few seconds later I heard the sound of locked up wheels and looked in my rear view mirror only to see a fookin Fiesta flying towards me. I immediately floored it but heard the inevitable bang before I got up to speed. The guy had only passed his test 2 days ago. Anyway the Fiesta is a write off and the Z will need the rear quarter panel, nearside cluster and bumper replacing at least. Has anyone else had this amount of damage and did the insurance company write it off?? Shaunmac's brother

Well I'm sure some of the previous posts have cheered you up no-end. My mate got pulled in a Ford Focus (Radar@97 mph then followed @ 110). He only received a two week ban and a £300 fine, this was only last month. It depends on the judge of the day. Take a letter from work saying that you need to drive as part of your job if you can.

Different scoring system applies – 3 for a correct answer – bonus points available for creativity or just a good effort – therefore more than one answer can be submitted. “Coming home from work, Simon had just put his key in the lock of his door when he heard his wife Betty scream, "Bill, don't kill me!" He dashes in to find Betty dead with a knife buried in her chest. Standing around the body are a postman, a doctor, and a lawyer. The husband immediately knows the postman killed his wife. How?”

Watched the mechanic fitting my new clutch slave cylinder and I was surprised to see it actually WAS easy. Something I really COULD have done myself but chickened out. Could have bled the clutch, could have sorted it. Just didn't know where to start. Now, I realise this was probably a very easy job. I am wondering now how much I COULD actually do. Any other 'easy' jobs a relatively kak-handed eijit might be able to manage? Any spectacular failures? The guys that did the work for me were really helpful but I did wince when the brake fluid went all over the paintwork. Is that bad? it was all washed off, but was it bad?

Just browsing the site and came across the pics of your car. Funnily enough....I've seen your car before, at the time, it's arches were cut and looked nothing like your pics.......but dont worry, it wasnt because it was a right off. I saw it at PPS in seaham. I know Peter, and my mates works at PPS on a weekend. I think I've got some pictures somewhere of your car in the bodyshop. Can I use your photos and information to put on http://www.fuelinjection.co.uk? Cheers Shaun

I've just noticed something. This is NO personal attack or whatever - just something I've just read and was NOT impressed. Here it is: Now, when I coughed up my money for the club funds (almost the day it was first mentioned) I did it to help the site out with bandwidth/server problems etc. I certainly DID NOT cough up so that it could be used to pay for people who want to abuse the system. If they owe money to someone, then it is up to those 2 people to sort it out. The club funds are NOT for covering costs of bad debt management (or whatever you want to call it) - or are they? Who decided this would be the case? If what is said above goes ahead, f…
