Hi - I've just recieved an email from a garage in South Africa wanting to buy my MR2. Here's the wording... Please i would be interested in seeing the full picture of the interior of the car,The shipping and handling will be taken care of by my shipping agent ,payment would be made with a certified cheque drawn from my creditors bank in U.K,i await your soonest reply in order for the transaction to commence. Is this a new scam? Or one other people have heard off? Anyone else experienced this? I guess all I would be out would be some digital pictures - if the cheque doesn't clear the car doesn't go.

Please excuse this post but i need to vent my anger ... Some scrote(s) tried to break into my car over night. They didn't get very far because the alarm must have scared them off (I didn't hear anything) but left the usual trail of destruction ... :( They tried to pry the lock with a screw driver - didn't work but ruined the lock. Then they tried to take the door handle off completely - didn't work either but ruined the rubber seal and left a lot of scratches/nicks in the paintwork. Black Z spotted on Uxbridge Road yesterday ..... brakes SQUEELING, nearly running over a bunch of pedestrians on a crossing (it stopped half way accross!:eek: ) paint job by Hammerite applied with a shovel, different alloys front and rear, black smoke belching from right hand exhaust, grey smoke from left, and stalled three times in the space of 100 yards, up for sale for £4000.......
