...and some quite nice pics to share. Having cleaned the PTU, thought I would take the zed for a little spin up the coast. Was heading up to Berwick for a night on the beer. Came back today, roof off along the Northumbria Coastal Route - very nice. Stopped off at Lindisfarne... Probably the closest I will get to contenders for the proposed zed calendar! ;) Trying not to think about the salt water on the causeway!! :( Apologies for the poor photoshopping in the first one! I've used ActiV8 in the past on a number of cars to smooth the running - it's sold as an oil additive reduces wear, eases maintenance and enhances performance. I've tended to use it on older car engines like - SD1 V8, Stag V8, BMC 1500 etc... and it has made them quieter and smoother. Got a big bottle sitting on my shelf and wondered about the benefits of pouring a capfull into the 300. What are the thoughts on these additives? Are the tolerances too fine in a 300 V6 engine for this sort of thing? Shall I just pour it in a let you all know?

A major earthquake measuring 7.8 in the Richter scale hit Liverpool in the early hours this morning. The epicentre was Bootle. Casualties were seen wandering aimlessly saying "bang out of order" "mental" and "that did my head in". The earthquake decimated the area causing in excess of £17.55 worth of damage. Several priceless collections of mementoes from Ibiza and Corfu were damaged beyond repair. Three preserved areas of historic burned out cars were disturbed. Many locals were woken before their giros arrived. The local paper reported that hundreds of residents were confused and bewildered. They are still trying to come to terms with the fact that the damage was c…

Whilst at work today I made my own grounding kit!! Made with 'heavy duty' industrial 'flexi' cable with ends crimped on, looks pukka and didn't cost me a bean!! I shall be fitting these to replace my 'trial' grounding kit on Friday morning, along with my induction kit (when it arrives ;) ) Matty.

For the people who dont know the name, Richard Brunstrom, is the Chief Constable of North Wales and the person who has a personal vendta against motorists. And becuase of him, it looks like the WRC welsh stage will probably never happen again. Anyway deputy Mayor of Holyhead, Jeff Evans, is taking him to court to claim back counsil tax which is given to the police. He says that not enough resources are being put in to tackling crime such as burglery and robbery and that too much is being used to catch motorists. I think he deserves to hang along with Blair.

I go to edit my ride, I get the load screen, I browse to the picture on my C: drive and try and upload it but then nothing happens (apart from status bar creeps across the screen) then it clears. The picture is only 319k. Any clues?

I hate these hoax e-mail warnings, but this one is important. Send this warning to everyone on your e-mail list. If a man dressed as a doctor comes to your front door and says he is conducting a survey and asks you to show him your c0ck, DO NOT show him your c0ck. This is a scam; he only wants to see your c0ck. I wish I'd got this email yesterday. I feel so stupid and cheap. :(

Although I really like the design of the new forum, why is it soooo slow? I have to use a dial-up connection during the week and i've had to leave this loading whilst I went for lunch just to open up a new post. To view messages is downright painful (5 x longer than previously) and means I don't bother. Is this something that's going to improve shortly or has a decision been made to alienate anybody who is not on a broadband connection? If I was new to the forum I would not hang around waiting for it to load, i'd just move off to somewhere quicker. This could prove a real problem for attracting new members...? Alternatively, if there's something I ca…
