....there's a new menace on the roads. It's called the Megane Sports 225. 2L Turbo. It does not hang about and is not shy to do 150mph. I have proof! I think this will be the next affordable french boy racer car in 3-5 years. Watch this space - You have been warned!

In ref to Freds post in Advice http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?p=257893#post257893post257893 I think that Garage's that do M.O.T.'s are a conflict of interest, like so many things in this country that are institutionally wrong. In many countries they have M.O.T. type vehicle roadworthiness examinations and they are dedicated Government run institutions, with fully trained examiners. I think this way you would see a lot more well kept cars in this country, u know the old 'trader that knows the Garage owner 'M.O.T.' would cease to exist. I found a few ZX adverts on the web some time ago, whilst I was at work ;) and have finnaly got around to sending them home via e-mail :D (as we dont have cd burners at work) The ones I've got are; BarbieZ - GI-Joe and Barbie Zdebut[1] - The one on the inclined race track (hmmm more like they turned the camera sideways ;)) Zdebut[2] - The typewriter Conv[1] - Convertable sideways action. Are there anymore adverts out there that I can download? Was thinking this because the convertable one has [1] at the end of the title! :cool: :duffer:

My friend has a EVO VII FQ300 he drives it hard everywhere OH DEAR he could not believe it when my Zed was faster in a straight line every time :) neither could I :dance: (on a private airfield of course) all from a 30mph rolling start still can't touch him on corners

Still considering all my options... so has anyone here traded in a Z against a new car of any sort, and if so, what did you get for it? Any thoughts? Lightly modded, unusual but tasteful front. (No private offers please, it's got potential problems so I wouldn't sell it to a forum member! But I came into work in it today, so it's running fine.) I'm thinking I could trade it in and then buy a really really sound example when/if one comes up, instead of continually buying unknown quantities and getting bitten.

I've loved the Zed ever since I first saw one in 1989. Never got round to buying one though (hopefully in a year or two). But having looked through the rides section I see that alot of you have messed with the styling. My preference is for a standard looking Zed, maybe with a nice set of wheels and a large hoop spoiler. The best looking Zed I have seen on here so far belongs to Tanzx. Your thoughts!!! (Light blue touch paper and retreat to a safe distance!!!!)

Just got it last week,its not absoloutely perfect but for its age its exellent. tt,manual & leather,78000 miles,standard apart from filter/clutch/wheels. Going to source a nice set of 18/19's and sell the 17" split rims on it atm. Is it ok to ask what people think it may be worth if I sell it ?,I know this one is in pretty good mechanical shape,but after not having it long I think I would have prefered a red/white one,,but havnt decided yet,it may grow on me more.. heres the pics.. hope it works :)

I don't mean since I bought my Z that would be just under 50K :rolleyes: ,I mean in a one hit bill of 20k.That would have also got me a R34 Skipline :nono: NO I love my Z and it will be a real monster when she is ready:D Each to there own but I would rather have my Z than any other Jap performance car;)
