Anyone out there help me sort out the quandary I'm in? Someone has very kindly sent me a standard airbox. :) 1 I haven't ordered one. 2 I certainly haven't paid for one. :D :D Any ideas. It cost them £7.20 to send it, but there's no accompanying paperwork. Wrapped in a second hand box stuffed with a particular newspaper. If someone has sent this to me in error perhaps they'd like to let me know. Cheers, Simon.

Just had a quote on my insurance from Firebond.co.uk (I'm already with them and pay £257 fully comp limited to 6k miles and car value of £4k) and it's gone up by £380......but I have said the car is worth £8k (with mods) and I have up'd the miles to 8k a year. Think I'm getting a good deal?? (I may be able to get a bit off when they call me!! LOL) Matty.

Hi all Just enquired about a set of cross-drilled Stillen front discs and metal matrix pads direct from Stillen in the USA....... Discs V.cheap at US$135 a pair and the pads come in at US$59. Great prices, I thought, ..........until they got back to me re the freight cost US$210 FFS !!!! I tried pricing the same product from UltimateZ, although discs are $240-ish a pair they only charge $54 to ship them here (and the pads are $10 cheaper) A saving of over $60 in all..... I thought feck-it, as I'm going to have to pay duty etc I may as well get them from Mike Feeney as there's not much in it in the end and if there are any probs, it will be…

Please note that I am in the process of moving house, so if you need any parts then you may have to wait a week or two. Normal service will be resumed on 1st May. I'm moving from Kent to Norfolk by the way. Good news for all you Norfolk folk, but not so good for all the "Southerners" ;) Thanks AndyZ

remember that thread quite a while ago about some australian (i think) guy with a supra who was tryin to make some kind of sequential setup or something like that with a small turbo and a bigger one. well have a look at this: http://www.holset.co.uk/flash/index.html go to products & technology then product technologies then variable geometry i am starting work there in august and have seen one of these in action and th results, compared to a similar standard turbo the torque curve for this one peaks faster, peaks higher and stays at its peak longer. am not an expert but am sure that makes it alot better, only thing is, is there a differenc between a turbo f…

Well I had the time during my holidays to install the Greddy 3 Row FMIC on my Z. The final result looks awsome but with some costs of course. Car gets warmer now due to the fact that no air can enter the engine bay to cool down the radiator. Also I left the oil cooler temporarily at its stock location until i get the Greddy one which i am about to relocate on the left side of the car. I am not having any overheading issues but water tempretures are higher now than before. (5-9ceclious). Maybe its also because summer its getting closer and temps are higher than before. The tempreture conclusions are based on my digital SBC-ID meter reading which i am getting dir…

link 580bhp is quite a claim, the interior looks bone stock, not even a boost gauge. I've never seen this car before.
