Just got a quote from Houghtons - £395 for the new Zafira and £343 for the 300! I'm paying less for 2 cars than I was on the one.....bargain. Oh - and if anyone is wondering why I've bought a Zafira its for my baby girl to ride in with her entire bedroom. A lovely 2 litre Turbo Diesel - 45 to the gallon. Nice.

I'm safely doing a shade over the ton. I brake a bit but they have seen & probably radar gunned my speed. As I pass under the underpass I'm back to 70, I notice them starting to take off, but a passing car stops them pulling right off. They then are out of visual, so I speed up to get to the next turn off, then go V. slow up the turn off and I go over the flyover heading over the A419 as they pass under me and the next turn off isnt for 4-5 miles :rofl: Shaved it this time,…

Ooooohh, it's like waiting for Christmas when I was a kid! :) Got on the phone to Luke at the Z Centre and ordered one of his leather seat kits, a converter for the KMH clocks, new dials, oil cooler kit, four scoop headlight panel and a new Z badge. Can't wait to get started! (someone please remind me of this post in about six months when it's all gone pear shaped and I'm ready to torch the car!! :eek: ) :) :)

We want tax cuts/freezes, but also want better public services/lower crime/schools/hospitals/roads/trains etc. etc. How can any party offer BOTH the above when they are mutually exclusive ? Drove up to Glasgow from wigan this weekend in the zed, always shocked to see that all that fun costs so much fuel..... It lead me to wonder, what's everyones opinion on the most fuel efficient speed when cruising down the motorway in a twin tub? Also went under a copper doing arounds 85, just how accurate are these speedometers? (mine's bang on 80mph at 3500 revs.) Wondering this especially since i've converted my motor from an auto to a manwell. any ideas?
