Just wondered if anybody has had any experience of long delays with orders waiting to be received as I have been waiting nearly six weeks for a delivery being held up by a Blitz part! :(

Just listening to Oasis performing Daytripper live, just summat that I downloaded whilst staying at me Bros while he was on his hols. What gets me is this, will we ever, ever have a band that will reach the heights that the Beatles or the Stones created back in their day? What with Pop Idol etc. seems to me that nowadays it's all commercial. I do love Oasis and to me personally they are the last of a dead breed of true rock and rollers! Yeah I know they have taken the p1ss by using Abba chords and claiming to have not copied the Beatles at every mile marker...but... Will a new breed of bands/solo artists ever be worthy of holding the best band in the world …

I must say that I couldn't import this clutch any cheaper than the special deal that smithy gave a while back, infact his usual prices are difficult to beat when importing with tax, duty and shipping Once my pivot ball comes into stock and arrives this will be going on, not quite a Andy Duff or macca clutch but i thought some people would like to see an iffy picture of what you get when you buy an RPS street clutch.

Keep toying with the idea of new wheels, 18" maybe 19". Ive seen the following Fox RS5, seem quite cheap. Will they suit the Zed and is it the same story, you get what you pay for? Not attached a pic before, hope it works. Barry.

Vijay, for fast response, sorting and even quicker delivery I hope...LOL (tomorrow!!) Cheers bud. MAC, for the advice ;) Jeff @ Z3dworld, for spending the best part of 3 hours under the bonnet sorting out my poorly Z, fixing a couple of boost leaks  as well (didn't know I had!) and the general 'faffing' that working on a Z causes, the loan of a MAF until the one Vijay is sending arrives and all that for absolutely nothing!! Cheers all!! Matty.

Straight forward question.................... Do you?? I dont see it as perverted, sad or any of the other derogertory terms used. I use them, and have fun, i find it a good laugh and fun way to chill out in the evening after a day at work, without vegitating infront of the TV. So come on, who else uses them................................... Please give your views.

In the quest for a quicker 0-60 than my NA, I've just booked my bike CBT, and hopefully on to a quick 3 day direct access test fairly soon. Never been on a bike before, but I'm looking forward to it. Insurance on bikes hasn't been the total killer I expected. Less than the zed when I was expecting a lot more. Hope I pass first time. :)

http://www.journeytoforever.org/biodiesel_make.html recipe for bio diesel, apparently its simple to make, cheaper than diesel, and better for your car and the environment - great for your daily driver! Anyone tried it? and is it available at any stations in the UK? It's growing fast in the US, some guy is paying 41 cents per gallon and getting 44mpg from his golf diesel. Too good to be true?

I have a load of video that I have taped using my digital 8 Sony video camera and I want to burn all of what I have recorded on to DVD. Asside from the DVD burner, does anyone know, what's the best software to use and will an Athlon 800 with 650MB Ram do the trick?

Are 300zx.co.uk entering any cars in this years TOTB? Reading over at GTIR-OC they seem to have trouble filling 5 spaces due to alot of peoples cars being off the road. Is it the same case here? I know Skylines would piss all over us on the track and the 1/4 mile. But it would be interesting to see what the Zeds could get. Am i correct in thinking that people have untill the 1st July to enter? Just thinking about it then and havnt heard much mention on it here. Dan.

£11K for a 1998 twin turbo. That's gotta be good value, surely?

I just booked the car into Thor to have the ECU swapped and a Dyno to check it's OK. Thanks TonyC for the advice. Hope it makes a difference. The ECU is from Jock's old car. I haven't had a chance to fit it, but probably best if it gets tuned properly to make sure all is well. Now I've had the exhaust and induction done I will be interested to see what having the chip does too. They seem to be very busy at the weekend doing Dyno days. Took the car in today and left it for the bumper to be sorted for the second time so no zed for the next few days :( . God, to I feel for people who have pranged the car. I don't know what I would do without it. It's a nice silver…

:D Looks nice and shiny, plus it will do a job too and hopefully improve the handling a bit. I'll post some pics when I can be ar5ed to go back outside as it was a bit of a pain in the backside to fit with smithy's braided fuel lines (the hole for the fuel line is about 20mm too far down, a bit a file is called for ;) so it's the brace I'm blaming not Smithy!! ) and you have to 'lose' the bracket for the Cruise Control and locate it just off centre to where it was! But it's all fitted now and I'm happy with my efforts. :duffer: I'll do the rear one this weekend!! ;)
