Legal Disclaimer - the theiving basterd bit is my opinion only and does not reflect the view of the club. Last August i took out an insurance policy for the zed with all mods declared. At the time i mentioned i might add further modifications to the car. They said this wanst a problem and just let them have a letter when they were done for their files. In February when the car went into the garage i phoned them vith a view to cancelling but they told me that financially it wouldnt be worth it so i left the policy to run. Two days ago i fax them with the new modification list and they canel my policy with 7 days notice and no refund. WTF :confused: :mad…

I've recently just bought my zed...but I vey nearly didn't. Mostly because the pages of this club website are full of people bemoaning their 300 zeds. Go and have a look at how many of the threads are about broken things and oil on the road and poverty and divorces and expired PTU's and transmission fluid on the floor. No wonder zeds are cheap. You have to have huge cajones to buy one of these things after reading you waffle you lot write. How about some positive things. I wonder if you guys actually enjoy breaking down! It gives you something to fix that weekend. But, if you want to raise the image of the 300zx, quit bitchin'. Anyone, with any sense will check …

just read an interesting thread on the eve forums which asked peeps what cars they drove and low and behold one of eves most feared characters owns up to owning a 300zx........i was just wondering if its one of you guys on here so i can get some tips off you

great people around on this forum :) Im coming upto 1 years of ownership of the mighty Z, along the way I have met, dealt with and bought from some of the guys and traders from the forum and have to say everyone Ive met have been thoroughly great friendly people who seem to bend over backwards to help people they dont know. For example Phil at C and S Wood always does a great job and a decent price Luke at the Zcentre great stuff delivered ontime and spent a couple of hours one Saturday morning showing whats available for the Zed Peter at PPS spent all last Friday fitting parts to my car, so that we could do all the jobs in just one trip for me…

was waiting at the lights last night when an M3 coupe or somethingorother pulled up next to me - young lad thought he was good, revving the engine slightly, pulling forward slightly and dropping back, pulling forward again and dropping back, stroking his chin intimidatingly. i saw the green man on the other lights change to red, put the brake down hard, dropped into D, built up the revs, our lights went to amber, built up the revs a bit more till the car creaked forward an inch, waited for green then freed the brake and put half pressure down on the gas to lurch forward and see if he'd respond. yep he was racing as well, so i floored it and left him for dead! :p m3? pff…

Is it me/was it just me or are ITV adding CGI coverage during live coverage of the F1 Grand Prix's??? Numerous moments when they decided too they would add PS/2 stylee graphics of Shoe-Makers car going round bends etc. FFS! Cheap skate *******s, they get the rights to show the Grand Prix over Sky and BBC and yet they have to add CGI into the equation aswell as the annoying adverts along the way! Trash if you ask me, let the beeb take it back...ITV is total and utter w@nk IMHO! :(

The REAL reason for his missed penalty has now been revealed - it looks like something happening in the crowed may have caught his attention! :rofl: :rofl:

Alrite Lads! Im thinking of ditching the Calibra and getting a 300 zx as they seem quite reasonably priced, look gorgeous and with a 3 litre twin turbo? (is that what they have?) must be quite fast. However, my question is, whats the spec on the engine- i.e. horsepower, 0-60 and top speed. How tunable are they? and what are the spares prices like? Any comments would be appreciated.

on the way home from work come up behind an evo 8 who was waiting for the car in front to pull out of the fast lane. were both doing about 40, car moves out the way both me and evo floor it and to my suprise i matched him. there were 2 in his car and 1 in mine. both turned off into sainsburys parked next to each other and he asked what mods i had. explained mine is stock apart from the zorts and he was shocked how i kept with him. the funny bit was when a kiddy in a kitted up mr2 tried to join in untill he noticed what he was up against lol

Was driving home about 11:30 sat night down a quiet residential 30mph road. Hiding behind a couple of parked cars were 2 bobbies with a night-speed camera (as it was dark) !!
