General Discussions - Non 300ZX

Just thought I'd put this in here, as not everyone looks in the Wanted section. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=36049 I'm after a set of rear lights, that someone is about to chuck in the bin, because they have changed an old damaged set, ie; cracks etc. I want them to put on mine whilst I'm converting my current set to '99 spec. More bad luck today, after spending about 2 weeks trying to suss out my dropping of water and overheating problem it was finally spotted tonight that I have got a Hairline crack at the top of the Radiator where the top hose pushes on to the flange where it meets the body (Always thought they were a bit weak). It had to occur after I had just shelled out £££ on new top and bottom rad hoses, Thermostat, a third lot of radiator flush, conditioner and Anti-Freeze and now I've gotta rip all the Bloody lot off again for the 3rd time to fit a New Rad. Has anyone got one for sale ??? If so how much ??? I know Baggins has got one spare I will ask him how much £££ he wants for i…

So after getting back from Billing :dance: this evening me and the girlfriend are talking about cars and the spectrum of owners. We pondered whether or not the partner of a Zed owner appreciates their car as much as the owner. :confused: So... Did anyone get pictures/video of my Thor dyno at Billing? The HICAS light just lit up on my dash and wont go! I have a 91 UK TT....anyone know what this could mean has it cut out??

Only had the car three weeks and already spent nearly as much as I paid for it!!!!! (service, cambelt, air filter, trim kit, disks and pads, stainless brake hoses, '99 spec front bumber, new trim bits the list goes on and) Whats the most anybody else has spent on thier cars for mods / body kits etc? a drivers side electric window control I could buy/blag/have please?? mine is shagged-It controls the passenger side but not the drivers window!!! and me full closure system doesnt work properly! cheers

I know somebody asked me when i change my alarm to let them know as the interior/exterior switch think inside the car is rare and they wanted it?? Well its coming off on saturday and i cant remember who asked for it so please speak up or it will be binned?? Kirbz

Had it for a while now, use it all the time. All of a sudden when I turn it on it says "!CARD NOT INITIALIZED" ..........any idea's anyone? :(

Upto now Ive narrowed my search down to these two sets of wheels, they are ACE 130 and Mania Pacifics, both come in 19s and both have wider rears (I think 8.5 fronts and 9.5 Rears). Both come in at around the same price with Toyos fitted, what do you think. First pic, stolen from James post earlier, thanks James, sorry for posting a pic of a bmw, its all I could find. Barry.

Had a little bit of fun on the way back from a party on Saturday night with a mate in his Cooper S. I thought it would be a forgone conclusion as he has a lot less power and 2 more people in the car and he is no more of a Schumacher than I am! How wrong was I!!! :mad: It seemed that he was so much quicker out of the corners and I only started winding him back in when we reached 60mph. He never got away from me but I was never in a position to take him either. To be fair on myself these were quite narrow B roads with the odd roundabout thrown in. You guys reckon I should be ashamed by this because I do? Time for 15 psi methinks! Justin
