Anyone know the wire colours of the speaker channels in a recent VWAG car (Seat Leon in this case) - they're not as advertised on seatenthusiasts.co.uk cos I've cabled them up that way and I have invasion of the Daleks! Selection of harnesses tried... gonna have to re-pin a harness myself by the look of it. :(

I bought my Z about 15 months ago from this place in Derby - now called Jap City Motors. There were 3 white Zs lined up for sale (sounds like paradise I know :rofl: ;) ) I got the most expensive one (had to nick the side repeaters off another tho :rolleyes: ) Just out of interest did anyone on here get one of the other 2?

My boy went to McDonalds when they had that Hot Wheels promotion (with the ad where the kid is excited to get into an elise) and he got this, which I must say is very nice indeed. Is it based on anything real? Can't say I go for the carbon bonnet, but the Skyline alloys are quite nice and the metallic paint's not bad. It appears (long with every other car he's got) to be using racing slicks, but I don't know, maybe they are all ready for a big track day. Even the mini and the Freelander. Doubt they'd get away with the tints though. :p

Driving into work this morning in the Zed and saw a cream Zed coming towards a junction I was pulling out of. Did the usual wave as she turned next to me and got nothing back but a dirty look from the woman driving it! You would have thought I had just thrown a brick at her car from her reaction! Got me thinking has anyone else had odd reactions to saying hello to other Zed owners?

Anyone else get this, it fooks me off. Like right now I want to go out and get some beer, so I can come back and have a few chilled brews, but I dont want to take me car, because inevitably, I will get the LAST CORNER SYNDROME>what is it I hear you ask? Well, everytime I go for a short journey in my Z, be it to the shops, the KFC or wherever, it turns into a long journey!! I'll head home, get to the last turn and think to myself 'nah I aint ready to go home yet' then go the other way, or drive past the turn off that leads to me house. Then ill go for a bit of a burn come back, then think 'nah I still aint ready to go home yet i'm enjoying meself' …

Walking around our pitch at Billings, I noticed quite a few Zeds that had some sort of rear light mod or other, that covered over the reflector. Either Painted over, had some sort of plastic/vinyl tape over them or round lights. So how do you get away with the MOT??????? No Reflector means a failed MOT, doesn't it? Just a thought. :confused:

I have still got my autoglym gear, but I hear this has been topped by Meguiars now, what have you all found to be the best?

This is odd (bit of a long one) As you may or may not have read there have been a lot of incidents leading up to me taking my car off of the road last xmas. It was leaking coolant, breakfluid and smoking (which was the more worrying thing!) Anyways, took it off the road, blinged it up, inside and engine a little, and replaced the water pump, M/S pistons/seals etc etc, checked and had out ALL of the breather system (it was all clear). Whislt it was off the road I serviced it AGAIN, although I like to do it every 6 months, but this had only been ran for about 2 from the last service, anyway on to the point im making (if it is one) My car is today ru…

Was out and about on my bike today (very nice thanks as you ask, best £11 ive spent in a long time) and two moments of clarity. A) walking down to post a letter (and have a fag, one downfall of bikes) and a kiddie falls end over end in front of me. As you do, I put the little sod right way up, and made sure he was ok. His mum comes out of a shop, and while not actually accusing me of trying to kidnap, mutilate etc her kid, she did make a point of saying about how little billy-bob (or whatever) shouldnt talk to strange men. So i think that in the first case its a sh1t state for the world to be in when you cant help an injured child, and in the second I hope that there…
