Thanks for the help with my boost leaks the other day. :bow: Did my PCV valves and you were right, great big one inch split on the one next the the throttle body drivers side. Also all of the others had splits in them :eek: . No more smoke at idle now which is always nice. Put your tester on and now have no leaks :dance: I'll Drop it round to you tomorrow night after work if you like? Thanks again for your help mate.

Whats wrong with all these lads with thier heavily modded saxos and fiestas etc, or more to the point whats wrong with thier cars? Im stuck in my '88 mk2 golf gti (completely stock, even down to original steel wheels!!) and I still blow them away all the time. I would have thought with a chip, exhaust and decent air filter they would be able to whoop the old girl good and proper...

Folks, Gotta deliver the Misses and brats down to Wales on Sunday, then pick em up on Thursday. My Route is Reading to Saundersfoot- dead on 200 miles each way, so a total of 800 miles for the 2 round trips. Obviousley the petrol bill is starting to scare me so was trying to see if anyone knows the optimum speed for Mway driving in an auto TT (60, 70, 80?? or what revs to keep for best mpg). Hope I dont end up having to drive her Mazda 323 :( Bad news is I miss going to the pod this Sunday, but good news is I get 5 days of peace and quiet to tinker with the zed, channel hop, lay in bed and live like a slob filling the house up with pizza boxes and beer cans :D …

Well, the hedge trimmer came out yesterday for an attach of horticultural genocide, the pond got cleaned, three buckets of wet weed on the bonfire (happy little fishy friends, now), filters rinsed, fountain working, trip to the tip done. My consort is off to a school reunion (and left with the kind words "have one for me down the pub dear" :duffer: what an angel). That's me down to the corner shop for the following: 1 ltr orange juice 6 cans Pepsi max 1 lemon 1 PP9 battery aaaaand 1 ltr Gordon's Gin. Should round the afternoon off nicely, that! Can't think of a better shopping list on a sunny day like now :dance:

Doing my PCV's today and also fitting my lowering springs. Been putting it off for a bit now but the sun is out and I have nothing else to do, so it is time. :( As is the norm when I'm fixing a car I will always fix the problem, but will also break three or four other things, and this mathmatical equation will continue each time I fix something untill the only thing working is gravity keeping all the bits of car on the floor. So wish me luck and if you want to pop by and have a good laugh at someone cursing more than the Osbourns at a nut that wont undo please feel free.
