Many thanks to Ryan @ Z-Tech for a sterling job re-fitting a new det sensor....now i'm well on the way to making some upgrades! After a few months of uming and arring about using a resistor or getting the job done properly i would reccomend the latter! The car is now consistant and runs well. Apologies about the alarm going off Ryan glad it was sorted. I'll definately call you in a few weeks for the chip upgrade and boost controller!!!! Should also mention in true enthusiast fashion he also cured a few other small problems...worth every penny!!!

As winter is almost upon us and the ZX is virtuly undriveable in snow etc I now have a winter car for my daily 50 mile round-treck through the Chilterns. Just got a Rav-4. Good buy too - V reg, FSH, 63k miles for £5000. Luckily it's also black so it doesn't look too girly :o Still, may add a bull-bar just to make sure :D However I'm full of remorse now as I bought the ZX to drive, not leave in the garage :( I don't know if I will be able to resist the urge to use the ZX........... Have I done the right thing? Richard :)
