I've stopped faffing about with this place for one day, sorry for the up and downness. you should notice a bit of a speed increase, greater stability and you can now edit profiles correctly and add your birthdays properly. now I've done fixing it we can get on with improving it. WE HAVE THE TOOLS.

Keep reading threads about this and wondered what speed over the limit is acceptable? Say its a 30 limit, no one about, the road is well lit, no schooll, no shops, just houses, no parked cars and the road is straight...... oh, and you live along it...

Mate of mine at work was photographed last week by a camera van (parked in a cycle lane on an urban clearway road I hasten to add) doing 81 mph in a 50mph. It is a two lane road and it was dry and sunny. He has no mitigating circumstances. The NIP dropped through his letterbox today and merely states that he is being done under whatever section of the road traffic act. Its doesnt actually state what they intend to prosecute for. Is this the norm these days? Does this indicate its likely to be dealt with via points and a fine rather than court? Poor lad knows he done wrong but hes only 25 and just got himself into a nice Rover 200 coupe as well. Gonna stin…

My mate's misses put £20 of unleaded in his turbo diesel Renault Laguna. It's now running nasty and hot, not surprisingly. It's about a third full (so it's mainly petrol in the tank I guess). Would it be ok to fill it up to the top with diesel and hope that dilutes it? Or should he drain the tank (or get the AA to do it!) to get rid of all the petrol? Will it have damaged it already? Any advice greatfuly recieved - he's just off to his place with my siphon tube!

Well as 2004 draws to a close I got around to thinking of what's happened in my life this year and the top 3 "events" would have to be: 1. My daughter doing her first Bungee Jump, Freefall Skydive and getting a Job with Brittania Airways 2. A fantastic summer holiday that took me from Land's End to John O Groats and then over to Orkney. 3. Getting my first Zed and discovering this site (Hello Mac and Jonno and Jonce and Cadpaul) Anybody else prepared to share their 3 most memorable moments of 2004????? A very Merry Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous 2005 to you all Phil

Eighteen months ago, I upgraded to GirlFriend 1.0 from DrinkingMates 4.2, which I had used for years without any trouble. However, there are apparently conflicts between these two products and the only solution was to try and run GirlFriend 1.0 with the sound turned off. To make matters worse, GirlFriend 1.0 is incompatible with several other applications, such as LadsNightOut 3.1, Football 4.5, and Playboy 6.9. "Successive versions of GirlFriend proved no better. I tried a shareware program, Slapper 2.1, but it had many bugs and left a virus in my system, forcing me to shut down completely for several weeks. Eventually, I tried to run GirlFr…

Just bought a 7" motorised Necvox DA-7169 off Ammar so I'm looking around for a single Din sized DVD player to hook up to it. Anyone got any suggestions as I don't know much about this sort of thing! Also, apparently the screen can be used as a "system master control station" when used in conjunction with "DA-230II TV receiver or DA-230I Radio/TV receiver/amplifier system"...I guess this just means you can watch TV/listen to the Radio through it with these add-ons? I'm planning on getting an MP3 capable head unit so I guess I'd only need the TV receiver? Cheers in advance! :D Leigh.
