Following my recent thread on being pulled for dangerous driving I got a letter from the police. They reasoned that they had enough evidence for driving without due care (which is not as bad as Dangerous driving) but have offered me the chance to attend a National Driver improvement scheme instead of going to court. Let me see: Day in court, possible ban and probable heavy fine against £175 for above course.......can I ask the audience? Had a silly moment where I thought about writing back with the argument that if , as alleged, I was driving at twice the speed limit on a road with three dangerous bends (two decreasing radius and one seriously off camber…

picked it up off one of those funny little korean blokes and excellent qulaity i must say , but what a film!! pretty sick !! anyone else seen it ?

Driving home from work last night and had to pull out of a side juction going right onto a fast busy road (westerleigh rd i think, going towards shunters work). Anyway saw a small gap so went for it, knew i had to build up speed so as soon as my car was pointing straight i applied 50% throttle. Car dropped from 1st o 2nd, but the engine just revved and wasnt gaining any speed. though AHHHHHH my gearbox has gone again, traveled 100 meters by this time, took foot off throtle hoping that this would then get her to jump into gear. But what happened next?????
