General Discussions - Non 300ZX

hi guys, i just needed to know an answer to a quick question, when i bought my scooby it was in KPH and was restricted to 112 mph. so i had it de restricted myself and coverted to mph. i was told by some1 that i had a re mapped ECU, but wont re mapping the ecu remove the restriction of 112mph? ps. i would try the scooby forum, but they not much help there. no one can beat the Z forum for help and advice from friendly pll.

Has anyone got a race logic traction control. How good are they i was thinking of getting one. and does anyone know where i can get one from. Cheers Eddie

Hi Guys I'm going to replace the current coilovers on my Z. They are Buddy Club racing spec - fully adjustable. I got them to go track-daying but it's looking less likely these days. So....... Can anyone make suggestions for some good road spec alternatives ? Other than factory spec ? The roads around here a terrible so I want something that will absorb the imperfections of the highway but still improve body control etc. Thoughts ? Cheers Mark

i would love to make a slide show of my z restoration to show you all but am a bit miffed on how to do it!! i can set it up on microsoft powerpoint but once i save the file what do i do with it after, how do i post it up so that i can show it on the forum?? any ideas :bow:

Yeah I know its not a Zed, but my Bora is featured in this months Redline, so you guys can see what else PPS are capable of other than 300's. last week i fitted my KYB shocks & Eibach springs, gave a nice firm ride with minimal roll after fitting these. yesterday i fitted my front upper arms & lower tension rods & aligned the vehicle. this has totally transformed the handling & i am very pleased with the results :) i done a write up on 4 wheel alignments as there are quite a few questions on what can/cant be done. hope this helps & if anyone would like to see anythin else covered then let me know :) link to FAQ

Hello All, does anyone have any pictures of a DTA front strut brace fitted with one of Smithys Fuel Line Kits, fitted mine today and had to reroute the fuel lines slightly and just wondered if anyone else had found a better way than me? cheers guys. :cool:
