My zed is back on the road! :nana2: Came out of the bodyshop on friday, had the accident damage repaired and everything resprayed except the roof, extremely happy with the standard of work. - no rear spoiler (perspex lens fitted) - no rear wiper  - no aeriel  - no Z badge  (well i've got 2 nice shiny headlamp panels really, one with a badge and one without) Spent all of saturday putting the front end back together (save me a load on labour and i wanted to do it myself anyway, experience). Headlights, bulbs, bumper, fogs, indicators, arch liners, 19's back on. Then spent most of sunday morning stripping out the boot…

Well basically this is the story. Its on a friday night i've jus dropped of a few of my friends somewhere and am driving back, its about 9pm. I'm driving along a main residential road going home and i've gona past a set of traffic lights wid a stationary bus jus afterwards on the left, i'm overtaking the bus and am driving at around 30 mph. While i am overtaking i am in the middle of both lanes, as i have jus gone past the bus i have spotted two pedestrians next to the curb on the left handside standing on the road(right next to the curb). The pedestrains seem hesitant whether to run or not, at this point i have indicated going around still, like wid the bus. Everything…

Anyone ever imported a car from Jersey? Have read the DVLA site (work is boring at the mo) and it doesnt appear too hard. Some weird thing about not being legal to drive a previously european registered car on its exisitng plates once youve bought it. Anyone got any useful personal experience Thanks Nick

Hi guys, After almost a year since I sold my Zed I am now looking at getting another. I knew it wouldn't be long before I got another one 'cos I missed it badly!! Anyway, It's a 1991 Pearl White UK TT Manual with 75K on clock for a just £2495!! Seems very cheap. It's a trade car with ALL MOTS since new but not a full service history. Just had cam belt service etc.... My question is (knowing how much trouble I had with my old '89 Jap TT Auto), apart from the buyer's guide, what should I look out for on a UK car? I was hoping this one will be more reliable than my last as I am parting with my trusty daily drive Primera for it!!! Any advise would be grea…

Hi guys, As we (DTA) are looking to expand selling our high performance chips it makes sense for me to have a programmer here in the UK. To that end I'm looking for advise from anyone who uses one and also on where I can get my mits on a programmer for a reasonable sum of ££. The Maplin kits are too expensive at £150. It will need the capability of burning 27C256 eproms and data verification. Preferably running off an XP machine via USB power and parallel interface. I've looked at ebay and can see a lot of "Willem" kits but all are located in the Far East and I need one a soon as possible. Any and all feedback is much appreciated. All the best, Danny

Man it slippy out today, mate of mine went to overtake a old grandad doing 15mph in a 50 zone but ended up spinning 3 times and smashing one of his wheels to bits. He didnt even git it much, must have lost traction on ice or something. As you can guess hes not a happy chappy. I drove the same route as him but luckily my car was running like a bag of sh1te at the time so i wasnt looking to overtake anybody. Mate car was a TVR Chimera 4.0 in case you ask LOL
