General Discussions - Non 300ZX

Not a bad job,very fidly,had to take it off 3 times to get it right,but totaly transforms the Z,while it was off ripped out more A/C bits n bobs,other bits too,and washed and cleaned it first time in over 3 weeks,allso cleaned up the rear cans,what a luvly day, :) Tony

Not wanting to waste 1/2 a tank or so of optimax I decided to syphon the valuable stuff tonight (like someting out of mad max !!!) and bung it in me Volvo!! Now is it me or does optimax taste worse than normal unleaded?...(ferking burns too!) managed to drink a fair bit of it too! Does anyone have one of them little pump things you attach to your drill or is there something better?

Hi Guys, Now a question. I was told that my 300ZX TT Import will hable 110 octane AVGAS is this true. If it was i was thinking in using at a race day, just for that day. Don't want to goose my engine, any ideas??? Could you also mix it with normal 95 Ron to get a lower ron that would be safer for your engine i.e 100Ron?? Paul

Been an interesting day today, got a new battery for the zed today, we put it on but its dead, charge it up and all is well, so we drive out to here... took those photos, then got a cab home cos it wouldnt start, that was pretty annoying, but after this we went out in the other car and jumped it, and then on the way back as we come round the mini roundabout leading into the village, WTF! the horn starts blaring away all on its own, now to help you picture the scene, the horn fitted is a novelty one which makes a sound like one of those big american trains. So now i'm at the side of the road in the middle of the village standing puliing wires from and swearing…

Probe V6... Hi, I'm new to these there forum's but what would you think would be the best (unbiased if poss) to go for. The Probe is a 94' V6 with 86k a full yr's mot, tax Aug, or a standard 300ZX also a 94', 95k, mot Dec, tax Sept. I just want some opinion's please on this, as Iv'e heard so much about both car's.

goes to see some familey members in swindon,on the way home i get some fuel in esso-not for the z before you ask! get home-oh dear wheres my wallet *****x,panic strip the car like a policeman looking for drugs LOL phone up esso in swindon and its been handed in i asked if there was still money in the wallet yes sir £20,i know for a FACT there was £100 in there,no point having a go as it wont get anywhere,i wonder if it was the person who handed it in or the cashier,either way happy iv got my wallet,peed off its £80 lighter what a bitch :(

Which trader supplies them on here? Anyone ever done one? Any problems? I'm enquiring as there is a whole host of autos out there, but not many Manuals, so I'm thinking sod it, I just won't worry whether it's an Auto and budget a conversion in with the price... On the standard front fog lights on a N/A or T/T their is these two little clear plastic strips which cover the screws that hold the fog light in, if any body has a spare passenger side plastic cover on the right hand side of the fog light as you look at it please can you let me know. Cheers :bow:

My girlfriend and I are moving out tomorrow so I wont be on line for a while, until we get settled into our new homw It will also meant the Z takes a back seat for the time being, it may mean parting with it :cry: Anyway, see you all soon, hopefuly still with a Z.

Evening, I know theres loads of IT bods here so hopefully someone can advise me. I want to fit more memory in my PC, it came with a 512MB and I fitted a 256MB stick as well a while back but want to swap the 256 one for a bigger one. I had a great big bundle of them to choose the 256 from as my mate had a load I could try out. Trouble is q a lot of them didn't fit, the notches didn't line up. Now if I want to buy one off ebay, how will I know what will fit? Do certain brand sticks fit certain brand pcs? Cheers Pete
