Hi guys,why is it just as you are getting somewhere something else happens. Just got some KYB shocks and waiting on adjustable link arms and tension rods and now ive got a pretty bad water leak from somewhere down the back of the engine. :headvswal :headvswal Getting a guy who is good with zeds to have a look see tommorrow. hope it aint serious. bubbles :(

I haven't bothered putting tax on my car or bike for over two years. I tax them but don't stick the disc on. At first I did it by mistake but realised it looked better IMO. Never had a problem with the police and if I did I think I could just say: "errrr I thought it was there - maybe someone nicked it". Does anyone else not display their tax disc? Had any problems?

Hi Peeps, spoke to luke just before and soon after xmas, and both times he told me about a new front end and carbon bonnets that he was getting hold of and was gonna email me pictures. still no pics!! anyone got or know of any pics of 'em? Way he described em sounded good (as always) ta!

is it was possible to put an air brake which works as a spoiler to a zed. Very similar to the Mercedes SLR setup where once under heavy breaking the spoiler raises to increase downforce. Also porsche's are able to do it so why not a zed ( i though) can anyone through some light on the subject , any help appreciated.

This 6 pot dashpod is now available at £95.00 plus vat.It comes in the black crinkle finish on the top to match the speedo/rev clock hood and black smooth finish on the front face to match the surround of the speedo rev clocks. The bottom row allows 3x 52 mm gauges.The top right is for a 52mm gauge,top middle 60mm gauge and top left for 60,63 or maybe 80mm gauge (depends on size of bezel). One of the pics shows it in white but they come as described above in black ready to be fitted. Any questions then please reply on this thread. Cheers Luke

this is my front end, i need to no what make it is so i can get the proper front mounted lights so that 1,every time i blow a bulb i dont have to remove the whole thing to do it and 2, it looks nice and not a bodge up like it does now... its not a 99 spec and its not veilside c1 but i think it is veilside(who i might add were completely unhelpfull) if any 1 can help please let me no its doing my head in...if you look you can see they have used the original lights behind the bumper [/img]

All Does anyone know of a company that does custom graphic work for cars? Ideally, I'd like a 3D model on some CAD software of a zed and then instructions of how to amend the graphics. If anyones got any ideas then give us a shout.... TA Or anyone got any pics of Zeds with graphics, I havent made my mind up yet....

NEW PICS FROM TONIGHT JUST GOT BACK AND THE CAR WILL BE READY FOR DINNER TIME :bow: JUST GOT THE FRONT END ON AND EVEN MARBLED THE BRAKES UP AND PAINTED THE ARCHES UP not in pic! THE ONLY BAD PONIT IS THE NEW CARBON BONNET WILL NOT SIT RIGHT THESE A BIG GAP ON THE FRONT AS IT WILL NOT GO ANY LOWER???? ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS HOW TO GET IT TO SIT ANY LOWER AT THE FRONT??? My insurance was due last week, ok fine. They asked if i wanted an independant assessor to evaluate the car for the ins', mmmm i thought, but ok its free so book him in. My car is nothing that special at all really, UK manual panther black subtle mods & a few custom parts! Just loved, well maintained, & with the help from the wise ones off this forum, god bless you, you know who you are! He said 9000 pounds. Thankyou very much. I suggest renewals due soon do the same!

lovely day today so took a 30min run out to get new door speakers cos they've been doing my head in since i got the car. had a nice gentle drive back, and reversed it in the garage before going in to get changed and fitting the speakers. came back outside and theres a puddle of antifreeze running out the garage! was looking forward to going out for another drive this afternoon with the new tunes in, but im back out again with the car on ramps trying to replace a turbo coolant pipe! RAGE!

thanks to martin ive now found out what front end i have,now i need to no where a dealer is or if they still make them.cos im sure there must be somthing stock that was made to go in the front light spaces even if its just a grill.

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/A1-KEYRINGS/Dashboard-Bulbs.html I Just thought many people may not know about this, there is a lot of people changing to LEDs and although they are probably brighter, a lot will may be put off by the hassle of changing over, especially if they have never touched a soldering iron. These are simple replacements for the exsisting bulbs (509)and are available in a few colours. Hope it helps someone

Hi Guys, Just thought I'd ask as I'm saving whilst doing loads of research - how much do TT manuals start from? (Preferably black - I assume because it's faster, it'll be more expensive :D ) I would just like to know what you guys think as I know I'll get an un-biassed opinion!! ;) Incidentally, watched The F&F special features - the guy the original article that inspired the movie was written about raced a 300ZX and p*ssed on everyone, what a shame that they decided not to show any in the film... :smw: :mac1:

well after my financial & personal situation taking an even bigger turn for the worse my zed may have to go :cry: very gutted ATM but am trying to work out if its financially viable to keep her. well fooked off :( how much for a series 2 UK manual??? £2.50?? :rolleyes:
