Just though id post some pics of my work in progress boot install. Feel free to leave any comments etc. PS. Fibreglass cuts your hands to pieces !! :wack: Idea is to have the nitrous bottle at the back, with two 36" blue neons running its length, and tread plate floor in the boot. Got all this ready to go in. 12" Sub box has got to be fillered and smoothed into the square section at the back of the fibreglass build, and two eight inch subs either side Already spent two days on it - now at the stage of sanding down the top coat of filler, and drinking tea a lot. I was pootling to work this morning, keeping it nice and gentle like i do when the engine's cold, when i see a white sierra rapidly closing in on me. come up to a roundabout and take a right to go up the hill. me in the left-hand lane and sierra moved over to the outside lane. me gets ready about to drop a gear when the lights ahead of us change to RED. BWUHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! sierra suddenly slows down and lags behind. i pull up to lights, sierra kind of sittingly timidly at my o/s rear. me gazing out of window not noticing lights changed to green :slap: and sierra (XR 4x4 BTW :rolleyes: ) has pulled off but is going far too slow - waiting for me to catch up or dropping out…

We have ordered some bits from Asia just over 2 weeks ago. I got a letter posted to us today from HM Customs, stating that the package has been delayed due to an identity error??? :( WTF We ordered car parts not a body :( Get this... I want to use an old Libretto inside my Z. The power supply output is 15v 2a. What would happen if I had a direct supply from the cig lighter? With the engine running it's up just over 14v, would that run it? Cheers Vijay

Hi there all ! Can anyone help. I have to pick up my import Zed in 3 weeks time and can get hold of a set trade plates if i want them. However, have been told that they dont cover import cars, as they have not been registered in this country with the DVLA ?? anyone shed some light...... !!! :)

Well done to Oliver Jaques, took a wildcard ride 10 days ago for Kawasaki and finished 2nd behind Rossi, if there was a couple of more laps, id reckon he'd of won it! Gibenau was his usual mardy self after the finish dumping his bike and walking back to the paddock!! big baby!!! Some great racing in the wet!!

as an overseas user i sometimes feel frustrated about not being able to communicate with other Z owners in my own country, as there is not enough of them to justify a website. But a couple of weeks ago i discovered an Irish forum on cars in general, which I found by accident , joined it, and actually got some good advice and praise about Z. I washed her this morning before I came to work (only started work at 12:30 ;) ) so as it was such a nice day when I was leaving the house, I decided to bring the Zed to work. Now as I knew I'd be here all afternoon, and after a certain point nobody else would be, I decided to bring all my polishing stuff with me :D So I've just spent the last 2 hours polishing her :cool: she's all nice and shiney now. Just a shame I've got another 2 hours to sit here and wait for the cleaners to finish and fook off before I can go. Anyway, just thought I'd share this totally useless bit of info with you all :D Good old pointless, random postings ;)

Picked my ZX back up from Nisstek (sp.) on Bank Holiday Monday (thanks to PR for opening up for me). Anyhoo just phoned now to speak with Peter and their answering machine message says they are relocating due to a legal dispute with their existing premises. The message goes on to say that they are NOT closing down and all customer property is in safe storage. Further more they will contact customers when they have relocated. Hi all, well after getting the car back from Samurai, I can honestly say they have done a fantastic job on my Zed, the resprayed front end and mesh they put on has made it look like a brand new car, I can't believe the difference it's made! If I was getting looks before, it's even worse now lol I can't stop drooling over it either :hyper: They did the whole job for £150 and even put some oil in and general tinkering while I was there for no extra. Nice bunch of blokes there, and all I can say is whatever problems they may have had in the past they are definately making an effort to make a name for themselves, I for one am extremely happy with the bodywork they have…

after reading couple of posts/thread/replies decided im gunna get the apexi avcr boost controller, as some of you have owned this and been happy with it. :) apparently though there has been a problem with some units (something to do with the "processor") that were made in the last 1-2months, so apexi have made a recall on them. dont know if this is of interest or help to anyone but just thought id let you know! (dont go buying any "bargain second hand units" if they only month or so old they mite be dodgy............i almost did, glad i found this out just in time!). im still gunna get this unit but it looks like there will be a couple of weeks wait. :(
