Why is it that when ever im driving or a passenger in someone elses car that it is always a woman or OAP that is in the right/overtaking lane doing a rediculous speed???????? Where i live i have to join a dual carriageway soon as i pull out of the drive, no sooner i am few hundred yards down the road and i have one of those dumb drivers straight away, the road is a 50mph limit and they doin 35-40mph in that right lane, i flash them, beep them but are completely oblivous of other road users in the end there is a tail of traffic in my rear view mirror which annoys me even more cos they drive up my ass like its my fault, if this dumb driver in front of me see a bird in …

Woohoo! Gran Turismo 5 is coming! The first preview trailer is kicking about on the net I think - I'd post a link but I only just saw it on our company network so I don't actually have one! :slap: Vid came from Gamespot though. Anyway: at last the 6-car limit is gone... looking at something like at least 16 cars in a race now! Unbelievable increase in trackside detail, even more so than there was between GT3 and GT4 - the new Monaco, Costa di Amalfi, Grand Valley and that-long-snowbound-tarmac-track-from-GT4-who's-name-I-can't-remember :p all look beautiful :nana2: I might even have finished GT4 by the time the PS3 comes out :D

Hi all Whilst collecting Julia's car from the garage Saturday I noticed they had a nice imported 350Z for sale so i managed to get a test-drive...... I have to say I was VERY impressed - it is an excellent car all round (But I think the interior finish is still better on the 300) :bow: OK it lacks the straight line sheer grunt of the 300ZX TT but it is still a fekking quick car and there is still plenty of torque so that the 'box doesn't require constant stirring. I stuffed a Boxter S on a dual carriageway with ease :dance: And it revs straight to the red line - plus a trick "limiter" light flashes when you hit max RPM. But drive it on a twis…

ok, cars overheating a bit, gonna check all coolant connections and do oil change, flush rad etc before sat so should be ok, but dont want to risk breaking something and not being able to get home - therefore have 1 track ticket (afternoon session) for saturday if anyones interested?

Had the car about 3-4 months now, what an awesome piece of kit it is, twice now Ive had people try to buy it off me, and offering a grand over what I paid NO CHANCE, ive had every sports car out there, P1, evo, M3, escort cossie, 2 gto's, TT supra, to name but a few and Im that taken with this particular ZX I love it. Ive had a few triers, but the Z has shown them all a clean pair of heals, had it up to 150mph last night, it was barely ticking over :D Ive probably spent a grand on it since I bought it, but there is not one glitch, stutter or bad idle with this car its superb, and doesnt burn a drop of oil. now dont get me wrong, i love this motor, but when you come off a roundabout (st albans one coming to m25 junc to be exact) and you floor it at about 35 when a 330d beemer is slightly ahead of you, im thinking surely a good condition standard zed should waste it surely? Seems not as i was to the floor today and i was struggling to keep up? Is there something wrong with my motor...i dont mind wasting 3 times the amount of petrol but i would like something to show for it! Any ideas anyone?

Yay, got my E-Manage installed. It was a pain in the arse. :( I might do a write up about it. I have taken a few pictures of the wires and still have my notes of which colour wire goes to what. It's not that hard, just fiddely. I spent more time looking up wiring diagrams checking wire locations and colours, and writing down tables to make sure I get the right colours together. All I need now is the money to get it tuned professionally :D Stuart

Got my block back after having a rebore, started to assemble it this morn! all went well untill it come to fitting the pistons! all six compression rings are to tight in the bore and dont match up to the tolerance given, so I have got to have them ground! to top it all off there is an oil scraper ring missing :cry: This rebuild has been one big pain in the arse, just gets me thinking why I have put myself in this position for less than 14 seconds of fun :confused:

I work in a large accident repair centre and i,ve been wanting to respray my car , turns out this week we,ve hardly got any work in , now my gaffers a bit of a :xxx: and i was,nt sure he,d let me book a few days off but work on my own car , he said YES :dance: :dance: been in touch with Luke he,s gonna rush a set of side skirts to me and its all systems go :) . All i need to do is get my wheels refurbed and it,ll be ready for the summer, guess who,s a happy chappy :dance: :dance: :dance: I,ll try and get some piccies up (if i can work out how :rolleyes: )

Went to see the start of the Gumball Rally on saturday. Loads of smart cars there (no 300zx's :cry: ) including 2 ferrari enzo's, lamborghini's, a pagani zonda, a stretched hummer and an ice cream van! Saw Jensen Button and Jodi Kidd. Got some piccys, but not as many as i would have liked as there was loads of people there! Did anyone else from here go?

Well after 9 weeks looks like I am picking up my Zed tomorrow afternoon after a full glass out respray, and from what I saw today I am extemely happy with the finish, DavesNewZX, if you read this, here is your old spoiler finally painted and fitted to my car, must be getting on for a year since I got it, what do you think???? :D :D will do some decent pictures once she finished in a nice location.
