I picked up my Z from Southampton - the culmination of months and months of searching for the right one. I can vividly recall the feeling of elation as I finally got to see my Z in the flesh, so to speak. After having stayed up all the previous night as I was far too excited to sleep, and having endured 7 hours on a train to get there, the state of euphoria I experienced when I picked up the keys will forever be etched in my memories. Not even being pulled over by the Police, literally as I exited the gates of Southampton Docks was going to spoil my day. The 300-odd mile journey back home was a pleasure - at last, my own Z32! Rang my local Nissan main dealer today for a replacement rear blind. Nearly dropped the phone when I found out the price: £453. To be honest, mind isn't that bad (certainly not bad enough to fork out that kind of money). Just thought I would enquire how much to replace mine as I'm a right spoilt b**tard. Has anyone ever replaced their blind? If so, where did they get it from and how much? Does anyone know if you can buy cheaper from the states? and if so, which company I'm not interested and buying a second hand one as I know it wouldn't be any better than mine. I did get a Z4 give it large at the Junc of M25 and A1 but almost pushed him round the island. Got next to him and he smiled and dribbled off the mark :confused: Showed a supra what a real car goes like (although the Supra did look really nice in silver) fair play mate? Oh! and I beat 3 transit vans. All in all a good trip. The furthest I have been in my ZED to date. :duffer:

Just receive my CA18 TB back from a guy in Norway who does porting and polishing in his spare time. He'll do anything you want really, if you can afford the postage. joaustbo@broadpark.no - top bloke he is. My TB only 2 weeks including postage both ways :cool: Check out my TB now though :eek: :bow: He'll do basically any engine part, big benefits to be gained, although I'd imagine you'd have to alter the fuelling map slightly, dunno.
