Right then, I have decided that this weekend is it and I am going to get the car sorted. This includes: - 1. Removing old Engine Loom and fitting new one 2. Replacing viscose fan 3. Replacing solenoid behind the dash for the heater to work 4. Fixing the Accelerator Linakge (So the car doesn't kill me) 5. Replacing front caliper 6. Fitting new plenum 7. Changing spark plugs 8. Oil change 9. Coolant change God that list looks depressing!!! So anything I should know about the above, before I start ripping the car apart ?

Hey, am new to the forum and wanted to say hello. Have just sold a '94 RX7 (as the fuel economy was killing me at 13mpg) and am now on the hunt for a 300ZX. It seems the whole jap scene is in a bit of a depression at the moment, so I figure its not a bad time to buy. So, I'll be kicking about, and reading a lot (try and get myself up to speed). And of course, if you have a 92-94 lightly modded TT (pref SWB), with a decent interior and some UK service history - let me know :) Rowly

Just opened my back door and there was a huge buzzard sitting on the garden table about three foot away. Awesome birds, going to have to get myself a pet shitehawk (def :- any large bird with big sharp beak and claws). Dave

im currantly in the middle of fitting 225mm skyline discs and mit evo 6 calipers, brackets need to be made for these to fit but works out alot cheaper than r33 gtr calipers if you can find them, the evo calipers are just as good if not better and alot more freely avalable.i will post pics in a day or 2. If anyone wants a set of these brackets made up i can arrange this though the engineering place that made mine.

Was just wondering mate, how does tuning the Zed to such a high level compare to other cars such as the Skyline and the likes. I know the excepted wisdom is that the skyline can be tuned easier blah, blah and all that, but what is the reality in your experience. What could you get for the price you've paid out on yours? and how would it compare power/drivability/cost-to-maintain wise. Dave

Hi everyone Sorry to join up only to ask for some advice but I was wondering if there was a way of being able to tell whether or not the front calipers are the lighter weight alloy ones the heavier cast ones? I am thinking about buying a pair but want the alloy ones: http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread.php?p=1802839#post1802839 Also what sort of price is reasonable for a pair of these? Thanks

Whilst sorting my central locking this morning, I've finally found the fault with my drivers side 'lecky window! Heres the symptons...... Play with unit, put back in car door, test all is fine, put door back together. Drive with window down, park, wind window up, all OK. Come back to car, press button NOTHING!!!! :headvswal Start all over again. Well I couldn't find anything wrong, until today, I very closly examined one of the output connections on the PCB, and it just moved a very tiny bit!!! A dry joint!! Soldering iron out, re-solder joint (after cleaning it first) and 'Hey-Presto!' it works :D Well it's all back togather now, so fingers crossed ;)
